A-Beat C has been disbanded earlier this year by G. Pasquini (a.k.a. Dave Rodgers). He now has a new label set up called Sun Fire Records under which he is still releasing Eurobeat (although many people are still waiting for this new label to show the flashes of brilliance that A-Beat C had). As fo...

I thought HRG were harking back to the EBF era with these slower releases though? Oh god no! Their new, slower style has very little in common with their old italo sound from the EBF era. Back then, the synths and samples used in their productions were very sharp, the bass-lines were infinitely mor...

I can see on mediafire that many people have downloaded my last demo mix, Mayhem in Dreamland, from the Eurobeat-Prime forums. I'm curious to know what have been your reactions to the mix! I wanna know your thoughts about it all: the mixing, the track selection, the audio quality, the presentation, ...

99 cent/.99 euro/79 pence sale @ Beatport!
For those of you who don't know yet, Beatport is having a huge sale. Over a million tracks priced at 99 cents/.99 euros/79 pence. They may not have a large inventory of eurobeat, but it's worth taking a look for the hi-nrg attack releases. they're under the hardcore section by the way. The MP3 forma...

My favourite on this albums are: #1 David Dima - Somebody Love This is simply amazing, beautifully executed and shows how much soul Dima puts into each and every song. This is truly the work of a Eurobeat genius. That chorus could have ended halfway and still be awesome, but Dima decided it wasn't e...

Ravenant was an alias that Alessandro Gilardi used when he produced at Hi-Site and reused it again for Akyrmusic. Tracks ala Flashman - Flash In The Night, Lady Baby - Follow Me, Baby Energy - Boom Boom In My Heart etc. Oh okay! No wonder then, that vocalist was active under that label too (i.e. Bo...

I've only heard their track named Fireflies, and it's really beautiful. I also found a great Hardcore remix by the one and only Technikore: http://soundcloud.com/technikalmusic/ow ... kore-remix

Damn, that is Melody Castellary that HRG are completely Disgracing with their awful recent production quality?? That's a real shame, when we know what the lady is capable of (My Love Romance anyone?) HRG's entries both sound horrible, as if they first printed the tracks on 12'', then took sand paper...

Everybody is jumping off the failboat it seems... now it's the captain's turn! Would this have happened a few years ago, I would have been devastated, but now that all the good artists have already left, I don't feel much. The other labels are doing a good job, A-Beat-C isn't needed anymore anyways....

Thank you for your interest Panu, I hope you will enjoy it! So UK Hardcore is now known as Happy Hardcore? : (! Oh, I tend to refer to any Hardcore that's genuinely happy as Happy Hardcore. I know the name UK Hardcore was gradually labeled over the music known as Happy Hardcore during the past decad...

DJ MAtRiCks - Mayhem in Dreamland (HAPPY HARDCORE)
Good morning everyone! This is DJ MAtRiCks, en direct from Montreal, Hardcore Metropolis! Here is my latest mix, Mayhem In Dreamland. It contains many of my favorite modern Hardcore hits, as well as some re-imagined classics. The mix has been recorded on turntables in May 2010. The reason I post thi...
