Re: Lead Synth Discussion Thread
Question : are there any eurobeat producers on the site? There are many independent producers on the Forums. Some more amateur, some are pros! I'm still searching for the SinclaireStyle Techno synth, I know they use Access VIRUS Synth Which one do you mean? The typical lead one? They've used several

Re: Super Eurobeat Vol. 244
Wow this SEB sounds awesome! I liked most tracks *o* My favourite ones were the following: - The Spirit of the Night / Deemo, because of that strong italo disco feeling on the melody. I'd say it's my biggest surprise on the album. - Turn Me On / Ace, because it literally turns me on. Best SCP song o...

Re: Avex Trax point of view in the early days
Such discussion is pointless, artists and Avex Trax surely would like to stay away from similar problems, Japan guarantees them even small, however calm business. It's brutal, but true. Agree, this is the reality we have. Yes, the solution is to accept the reality. Even if we need to spend 3x more ...

Re: [New releases every Friday] Eurobeat-inspired album: LILITH
I just added tracks 7 to 10. Especially The Queen (released today) is very eurobeatish and hope people in the forums will find it interesting.
By the way, I'm open and would agree critiques and opinions on this work, as it would help me improve and do better music. Thank you for your attention!

Re: Why didn't anyone tell me Manuel Kawamori had an FB page?
It's a treasure. :D Manuel seems like a really fun guy to be around. He likes a lot of the same things I do. I was literally screaming when I saw the picture of him dressed up in Goth gear. I agree. He's amazing and super fun! He also has a web page: https://www.mk-voice.com/ Shit there are lots of...

Re: Super Eurobeat Vol. 244
Ace on a SEB always turns me on.
By the moment, I can only say I'm happy to see a lot of SCP since they're my favourite label. Also curious for Kaioh&Domino, Manuel and Chai&Roberta. Still waiting for the previews to have a solid impression on this.

The author says in the comments that he only slowed it down and extended it a bit. The remix is interesting though but I still prefer the original!

Re: I made a few Eurobeat tracks!
This track is just me messing around with stuttering the lead synth and I think it went ok. https://turbochaser.bandcamp.com/track/d-o-r-if-t-o Also Akira, I just remembered, in Flash Race I used the official Intial D AE86 4-AGE Engine sound. Completely forgot about that! Yes, the stuttering works ...

Re: Avex Trax point of view in the early days
I can suggest ask Mauro Farina, Laurent Gelmetti what has been Eurobeat, not as overall term, but as the real genre and since when, and don't be confused their works years later, how different such guys treat this genre as the forerunners, today in the XXI century. ;) I believe eurobeat as a genre ...

Re: I made a few Eurobeat tracks!
There are legal ways to do it, loudr.fm for example. However you will have to pay in advance so be sure you already have a fan base who will buy the songs or start a crowdfunding campaign first to find out if enough people will buy it. Didn't know that side. Would love to legally cover some tracks ...

Re: Avex Trax point of view in the early days
The change came gradually, there is not one single cut-off time, but I think traditional eurobeat started to cease in 1993. If I remember correctly, they wanted to introduce a name for the new style: Hyperbeat (hence the NRG Boys song Hyperbeat Tonight). Had they done that, Super Eurobeat Vol. 29 m...
