Well, I'd argue that 'I'm Superstar' is overproduced. The whole song sounds like it was thrown into a blender and viciously pulverised. There's so much going on in that song from start to finish, it's mindboggling. But I respect your opinion. Hope you respect mine. ;) SOTD : SHAKE YOUR BELL / DAVE &...

Wishy-washy, overbearing production and tired vocal delivery. The melodic structure sounds like it's aiming for a party joint, but the execution is so terribly off that the result is almost scary. It's downright tiresome to have to sit through. I agree on your point about the tired vocal work but t...

I like that song. I wasn't so sure about it at first either but it ended up growing on me. Why do you hate it so much?#Infinity wrote:April Fools! People Like Dancing is still, far and out, the worst eurobeat song of all time.#Infinity wrote:4/1/13:People Like Dancing / Mega NRG Man

I usually also break away from the mold. Not on purpose. I truely enjoy the tracks I choose and my enthusiasm shows on the reviews. That was my point though. Normally, the reviewers are divided but there seems to be a higher degree of uniformity with this album. Even your song reviews were fairly c...

I don't understand why some people here are so negative about HRG in general. We couldn't have been more clear about why some of us dislike HRG, so if you still don't understand then you need to work on your reading comprehension skills. Interesting how everybody's top 3's so far consist of the sam...

Based on Jay's reviews, I am really dreading the two Hi-NRG Attack entries right now. His comments for those songs could easily be applied for me to Born To Be Wild In My Car. Well, if you found the HRG songs on 221 to be in a sad state, I guarantee you won't like these two. Just warning you! I've ...

5. GIMME LOVE / NORMA SHEFFIELD : One of the vocalists that I've still been listening to occasionally throughout my extended apathy for eurobeat is Norma, which is interesting since I never thought much of her back when I was an avid listener of the genre. 'Gimme Love' may not pack the punch that m...

Initial impressions: 1. DANCE IN THE STARLIGHT / ACE : Not bad. Most male SCP productions tend to have a high initial impact yet they don't possess much longevity - probably because they all sound the same - but this song sounds a tad more sprightly and varied than usual. Ace also sounds interested ...

Clearly you guys don't pay attention to extras in the extended versions of songs with as much enthusiasm as I do. It's not at all just cut and paste. To say that shows no regard for the label's creativaty what so ever. It depends if the label knows what to do with the TIME limit of 5-6. That bolded...

Extendeds aren't needed, no. I still see them as the ultimate version of the song, it's longer, more varied and to me it feels like the complete experience. It gives room for maybe another breakdown, chorus, muted parts and other kinds of creative mixing. I fail to see how the majority of extendeds...

3. SUNLIGHT / KAIOH (GoGO's music)) I've only liked one song from this guy under the name Leo River. Leo River and Kaioh are different people, though they do sound very similar. 7. NOTHING'S GONNA STOP US / ANNALISE (ABeatC) I can't recall any song from her's and I don't even think I own a 12 of he...

Funnily enough, the Cy-Ro verdict was basically the only point of similarity between Bore's review and my own. HRG are capable of great things, as they demonstrated with their slower, Italo-inspired productions in the 200s, but I'm willing to bet that nobody will remember this Cy-Ro track in a year ...

Maybe post one interview per week as opposed to one every few days, otherwise you'll quickly run out of people to interview. Also, it would help if you gave more easily identifiable information on the community members you've interviewed, such as forum names and the like. For example, I've been arou...

I would be wary to jump to conclusions based on this one release. I'm sure that SCP will continue to evolve just as they have done each decade, and I look forward to see what the future holds for them. Funny, as I would argue that SCP haven't evolved much at all since the late 180s. What's so diffe...
