Frederico Rimonti or Gianni Coriani?

Post by zoupzuop2 » 16 Mar 2007, 23:40

Hey guys, I'm a bit more confused this time around than is usual.

I can't seem to find a straight answer as to how Gianni Coriani is connected to Claudio Accatino (sp?) is connected to Frederico Rimonti. All of them are somehow connected to Ken Laszlo, Jeff Driller, and Franz Tornado in some shape or form. I've tried searching the main page, and all over the web, but no clear answer. Could I get a little clearing-up on this?

Gianni did the vocals on Tornado Superchild/Franz Tornado. I don't think he did any Jeff Driller songs, though he did some other various songs for HRG.

Okay, that works... so somewhere in the early part of the career Coriani worked with Rimonti. So, does the timeline for Franz's name work something like this:

Coriani
:
:
:(Works with Accatino)
:
:
:
:(Accatino & Rimonti meet)
Rimonti
:(Coriani does vocals with Rimonti)
:
:
...

or something to that extent? Did Rimonti and Accatino simply inherit the name, or...? If anyone knows an abridged history of these names, I'd love to hear it.

the first few male songs at hrg had vocals by the same person (Roberto Gabrielli? I think oresama told me that), that includes:
Batman is Bruce Wayne/Garcon
Try/Remy Panther
Doc Jekyll Mr. Hyde/Franz Tornado
All the Day/Francis Cooper
I Want Your Fire/Cy-Ro

after those songs, it was split up like this:
Garcon = Nick Festari
Remy Panther = Gianni Corraini (I haven't heard all of the songs under this name so there might be ones without his vocals)
Franz Tornado (Except Tornado Superchild) = Federico Rimonti
Francis Cooper (except Baby Don't Tell me Why and Dancing into the Fire, which are Nick Festari) = Gianni Corraini
Cy-Ro = Federico Rimonti, from SEB 169 and after Nick Festari.

Gianni also did the vocals on the first few Jungle Bill songs, Energy People Unites/Live Music Gang etc.

Before HRG Live Music Team also knew Corraini from thier work at TIME. I also see Claudio Accantino's name appear on various older Italo Labels Like ASIA,RadioRama and FLEA. All of wich Corraini also did vocals for various artisit names. Some of which include: Angelo Maria Morales, Mark Tower & Co- "My Desire" and Coo Coo for Flea. Claudio Accantino was one of the writers for the mega "Boom Boom Dollars" now a days renamed "Moo Moo Dollars" :D

As for HRG Attack, If my memory serves me well, Corraini has done vocals for
Franz Tornado- Tornado Superchild
Jungle Bill- Master Mind ,Oh Happy Day & Sexy Toy Sexy Joy
Lucky Boy(formaly Lucky The Nice)- Listen To My Mystery & You & Me
Jeff Driller- Rocket In My Pocket
Remy Panther- Gimmi A Chance & Bad Boy Can Believe Me
Gordon Jim- Wonder Woman
Billy The Butcher- Cannibal Attraction
Francis Cooper- Turbo Night
His last song was Remy Panther- It's a Magical Dream

Hope This helps? :D

The only Eurobeat labels(90's up) that I have not seen Corraini are on SCP and DELTA

Actually I believe Corraini was the vocalist for Boys Band - Crazy Night.

And I may be totally off base here, but wasn't he Dave McLoud from songs like Mikado?

That was Davide DiMarcantonio.

Gianni did some of the Vibration songs in the 140s and 150s, such as Space Fighter (to quote Nine: "WHY ARE WE KILLING ALL THE ONIONS? " )

That site is rather complete, but I would't use that as a 100% reliable resource... Roby & Sara - Hold Me Tonight and Alvin - Runaway Getaway were certainly not sung by Ken Laszlo, but by Roby himself

Is that so? I thought he was Nando or some other artist. So he does one song for DELTA then quit? What was the point in that?

Sounds correct...
Nick Festari once told me that they stopped using his voice because it wasen´t aggressive enough...
In My opinion his voice was perfect for their music

No, I think they made the right move. Gianni isn't a bad vocalist, but he's very high pitched and doesn't sound all that interesting with a label that generally stresses crazy, fast-paced eurobeat. He does, however, sound excellent as an Asia vocalist. That label suits his style a lot better in my opinion, giving him excellent tracks such as A Lovely Night, Runaway Getaway, and Night Fly. And now that Vibration is gone, he's apparently working for Asia once again!
