Slowly getting into more of the songs from SEB 208, which is a good thing cuz I really wasn't to thrilled with the 209 previews. Surprisingly enuff 5 debuts in my top 30 with a few older songs making waves as well. The big moves come from Francis Cooper and Ciao Ciao, which could dethrown Mr. Moog by weeks end.

For the occasion I will post a Halloween Top 10 this week with a couple of new vinyls thrown in for fun.
Dr. NRG's GROOVY Halloween Themes
1. Frank Torpedo- Hi Hi Frankenstein (TIME)
I still think this record deserved a much better final mix then b the one featured on vinyl, but that organ intro remains my favourite ever for a Halloween them song.
2. Hi Hi Baby Frankensatin (HRG Attack)
This one is probobly the most uptempo Halloween song I have heard, but the synths get me every TIME.
3. Mister Black- Mysterious Man (F.C.F)
Perfectly captures the Halloween theme. Listen to this in the dark. It's relaxed BPMs are next to perfection.
4. Radiorama- Aliens 2 (radiorama)
Another perfect example of Farina's best works. Halloween theme or not.
5. Dave Simon- Maniac (TIME)
Probobly wasn't made to be Halloween song, but it reminds me so much of the 80's gore classic that it must be mentioned.
6. Scream Team- Horror Fantasy (SCP)
Also one of SCP's best songs ever.
7. Derreck Somin- Dr. & The Medic (ABeatC)
Another song that wasn't made for Halloween purpose, but the whole structure really sounds kinds medieval.
8. Franz Tornado- Doc Jykell Mr. Hyde (HRG Attack)
The one record that reminds me that Franz was originally Roby's alias.
9. Bugaboo- Beastgirl (HRG Attack)
The label with the most feel for the Halloween themes. The lrics also are very sinister.
10. Atrium- In The Name Of Strangers (TIME)
Again .not Halloween theme, but damn; Caria really knew how to deliver the chords on this one, In fact American Psycho, Brother Nightmare and Naked In The Night; oddly enough, give me a Halloween feel. I chose In the Name... for the intro and break.

Mike Hammer- Blade Runner
That synth riff is very sinister and I picture some slasher running after his prey with a blade.
I also chose these songs, because, strange as it may sound, they give my home a Halloween feel when I play them on that particular night.
