Was ParaPara Go! written by Gilardi because it screams his old Dancemania/EuroPanic style which I loved

King of Fire and Super Lover had that vibe for me as well (though that could be also because of his token male vocalist). Definintely loving Gilardi's style.

Same here, although I didn't like ''Set My Heart On Fire'' that much.
I think it's because of the riff, not very original.

King Of Fire was A-W-E-S-O-M-E!

I listen to it all time while studying at school.

Here's my review... It's been a while since the last one (SEB196...)

Set My Heart On Fire by Rocket Man
The intro starts off quite rudely. In fact, there isn't a huge difference between the riff in the intro and the actual riff. It isn't quite my taste. After the riff, the flow continues quite nicely. The vocal are nice but nothing extraordinary. Overall, the song is OK but won't become a favorite.

Rating : 7

King Of Fire by Max Casanova

The song starts off with a standard and kind of short. The riff is ok. In fact, it's pretty good. But, where I lose interrest (but not all...) in the song, is the verse. It kind of lose the energy the riff had started. But the chorus is much better than the verse. A pretty good overall song.

Rating : 8¾

Shooting Star by Charm

At first, it sounds cute. But in the end, it turns to be this aishu eurobeat song which turn me off INSTANTLY. So, sorry Newfield but this isn't for me.

Rating : 5

Superlover by Baby Energy

Trancey intro is trancey. The extra vocal bit in the intro feels VERY out of place. The piano is good but NOT the vocal. The riff is turning me off. It sounds empty compared to the pretty energic verse, bridge & chorus... I'm quite divised overall. But, in the end, I just feel like skipping it.

Rating : 6½

Para Para Go! (7A Don't Like It Mix) by Linda

The intro attracts interrest. That's the first impression I get. But... it turns out to be a "Lebon14 doesn't like it mix". The verse sounds some kind of Aishu-style vocals. The chorus is OK. Nothing more. Quite short song...

Rating : 6

Love Is On The Way by Hana

Oh god. I have positive feelings about this song. The riff is weird. But, hands down to the verse, bridge & chorus. Quite catchy! That makes one my favorite on the album.

Rating : 9½

Fill The Colors by Kamilla

God... this song sounds like some standard Time song. Or just an impression I got. The intro is quite original I must say. The riff is... an aishu riff... not as bad as Shooting Star's though. The rest of the song is OK. Not bad by any mean. But, overall, it's not exactly a song I will listen everyday. In fact, I won't say no to a listen or two once in a while.

Rating : 7¾

Hypervision (N.K. Vision Mix) by Gabriel Feat. Trisha

Hyper techno time!! The intro alone grabs my liking! I really like that riff. The overall energy is really catchy. I really like overall.

Rating : 8¾

Ritmo Loco by DJ Thunder 3

I have a question to all... why does the Extended is shorter than the instrumental?!? That makes no sense. Anyway. Great energy all over the song. One of my favorite!

Rating : 9¾

Nights On Fire by Dusy Fair Feat. Lukator

Holy! That's an amazing bass in the intro and riff! The overall energy is really really great. It's amazing! By far my favorite song on the album!

Rating : 10+

When I'm Close To You (Snowdon Mix) by Harrie Gato (ありがとう word-play)

Pop time! I really like the word play for the artist name. Beside that, I really love the song. It's really catchy. Very good melody all over! One of my favorite.

Rating : 10

This Could Be Love (Expresso Mix) by Missy Palmer

The synth at the beginning are annoying but the "Dum-de-dum" are less. The verse makes me sleep (Sorry). The chorus is OK though.

Rating : 7½

My Heart Goes Zoom by Bubble Queen

Hey! I like that. I don't exactly know why but I got this feeling... the breakdown and "riff" reminds me heavily of Cascada & etc. Good song overall.

Rating : 8¾

Rock 'N' Roll Holiday by Connie Cheewah (こんにちわ word-play)

I've got this mixed feeling... I like it but at the same time I don't. Pretty much because there are elements I like, like the beat, bass and the breakdown synth (main synth). But I don't like the background pads and vocals. Since there are more positive than negative, I feel like it's a good song after all.

Rating : 8

--CONCLUSION--

I went and bought it because I thought it would be good. But I ended up encouraging Newfield and not liking it too much. The pop selection was pretty good. The Eurobeat was the biggest deception of all. The hyper techno was good but much better than your standard We Love TechPara fair (But, I gotta say... SCP makes damn good Hyper Techno (exemple : She's So Sexy)). To buy if you like bubblegum, hyper techno and old 70-90 SEB era Eurobeat.

Eurobeat Overall : 5½
Hyper Techno Overall : 9
Bubblegum Overeall : 9
Overall of overall : 7½

P.S My review sounds rusted from lack of releases...

>>>EXTRA<<<

Summer Boy, Summer Girl (Extended Mix) by Delta Queens (Delta, SEB199)

Finally an extended from those shitty megamixes! Thank you Newfield. The intro starts with heavy sounds and effects Very catchy and fast riff! Like I love them. The vocals sounds weird at first, but are pretty good. The bridge keeps the energy and drive the beat to the (short) chorus. Overall, really good song!

Set My Heart On Fire is so epic that I also snatched up that instrumental version and made my own 7:00 remix. 8)

The song is too short. I'm barely getting a Eurobeat hard when all the sudden it finishes. :P

I had to doo something about that.
