Well that sure as hell wasn't an extended mix :P Nevertheless, from what I hear they have another amazing Phalanx track in the works. Isn't ironic how Newfield & co. have given a rebirth to the sound that made the name Pasquini so famous to begin with. I mean; its almost a replica of Aleph. Even the way the vocals are sound a bit Pasquini -like. Now if they could convice Clara to sing lead vocals on a new Flashback records track. That would be sweet 8)

Actually these mixes are just previews and not the full mixes that are on the vinyl releases.
But yeah I agree it would be pretty awesome to see Clara on main vocals on this label.

Ken Laszlo will be releasing a new full album sometime soon.

It will be released by Space Sound Records, who have released songs by artists such as TQ and Linda Jo Rizzo and some Fred Ventura as well.

Not much details are given on the official site except the album's title "Fire And Ice". We can except it to be an Italo Disco and/or space synth mix sounding album according to what other artists have released in the past on Space Sound Records.

For those fans of old school High Energy and old school Eurobeat sound, you are in for a treat with the new album by Peter Wilson, being released next month in August.

The full album preview is up.
My favourite songs on it with a eurobeat/hi-nrg vibe to them are "the game of love", "get outta my life" (written partly by digimax), and "utopia".

Some great Stock/Waterman written songs on the album as well, for those more into the 80's pop style.

In June, one of the songs off the album was released as a single.
This single titled "I Don't Wanna See You Cry" hit #1 on iTunes New Release Chart in 4 countries last month, including Australian #1, #2 in Denmark, and #4 in France.

That's a pretty big acheivement from an indie artist making lots of eurobeat and hi-energy influenced pop songs

If you like 80s icons; Trans-X; there is a remix of their song "How Long Last Love" from their Hi-NRG cd of 2012.

It's an incredible 9:00 + masterpiece that only Pasqual Languirand could dream up. Perfect for any Disco and Hi NRG era of 80s. I mean it could literaly ve mixed with any of the vinyls from that Hi-NRG era.

Fans of Fred Ventura will be happy to know that "Italoconnection"will be working together with Australian singer Peter Wilson on his future album.

Back in February of this year, the single off of Peter Wilson's album "Utopia" titled "Doing What They Said Can't Be Done" reach #37 on the iTunes dance chart in the UK and #2 on the iTunes US dance chart. The song was made by Stock & Waterman.

It was geat to see Mexican HiNRG producer Digimax doing a song on his last album as well as other collaborators, and now we can't wait for Fred Ventura's work on his future album! :!:

At this rate, it wouldn't be too hard to imagine the likes of Sergio Dall'Ora or Laurent Gelmetti, as well as many other talented Italo and Eurobeat producers work for this guy :P Let's hope for more hits!

Thanks for all those links.

I really like the new Italove song featuring Fred Ventura the best. Very genuine sounding Italo-disco.

I can't wait to hear more Fred Ventura who will be producing some songs for Peter Wilson on his new album due out shortly.

The Project K Bunker Mix has that "Dead or Alive" sound to it in the beat.

You can also see a couple of performance videos of Fred Ventura and Ken Laszlo performing at the same event where Peter Wilson was promoting his upcoming single "Hold You Tight", which is co-written and co-produced by Fred Ventura.

Old style eurobeat/hi-energy, italo and 80's synth pop lovers are going to go crazy over the new Peter Wilson album "Overdrive" which will be released very soon.

Produced by Italoconnection (Fred Ventura & Paulo Gozzetti), Pete Hammond (of the 80's PWL and Stock Aitken & Waterman fame), Mirko Hirsch, John von Ahlen, Matt Pop, Retronic voice, Marco Rochowski, and Richardo Autobahn.

Here is a preview of the 2-disc album:

Preview sounds great. You can hear all the different influences.

Hold On Tight and Midnight Lover sound 80's NRG amazing.

Brokenhearted has that DOA backround percussion.

Take A Chance On Loving You is pure SAW. Could of been sung by Rick Astley.

Overdrive is probably my favorite and you can hear Mirko Hirsch all over the production too.

Shadows of The Night has the unmistakenable Giorgio Moroder vibe to it.

Anxiety is perfect High Energy.

So many different styles

I agree that "Brokenhearted" has the DOA sound to it, without a doubt!

Others I find interesting on Peter Wilson's "Overdrive" album sampler:

"In The Distance"
sounds like something that the group "Erasure" would sing. I'm still trying to figure out which older Italo-disco song does the synth hook for this song come from since I've heard it before!

"Systamatic"
has the SAW sound to it as well.

"Love Me Tonight"
seems to be one of my favorites from the preview. It has an 80's freestyle vide to it until the chorus hits. Parts of it sound like 80's freestyle artist "Noel".

"Satellites"
is SAW all over again.

"I Just Wanna Turn Back Time"
more SAW vibes. Something Jason Donovan would have sung back in the late 80's.

"Love Into Action"
has the "Erasure" sound to it, just like "In The Distance" did as well.

"Last Man Standing"
could maybe sound like something "Human League" could have sung back in the day.

"The Scene Of The Crime"
is my favorite from the previews. That awesome synth hook!
