ZZ2: Hope you guys like it. ;)
2. ROCK MY HEART/ ROBERTA
Sinclaire turns down the "wind-tunnel" and reaps immediate awesome from it.
3. FEEL THE MAGIC/ SALLY
Typical Dima fare. That's not to say it's BAD, just not much STELLAR.
4. DISCONNECTED/ HOTBLADE
Ohhhhh damn. Hotblade has yet to put out a bad track.
5. UP&DANCE, UP&GO/ LOU MASTER
Someone got Eurogrooves in my SCP! ...and I like it!
6. DANCE BOOM BOOM/ TIPSY&TIPSY
Is SAIFAM even making new Eurobeat these days? Riff is KIND of cool-sounding, but...? Not sure what to make of it.
7. TOUCH ME/ NIKITA JR.
I like it! But I wanna hear the riff...!
8. SUN FIRE/ DAVE&FUTURA
Really reminescent of "Dance in my Town". I do not mind this for a SECOND. <3
9. THE　DARK　SIDE　OF　YOUR　MOON/　DEE　DEE
This is the musicianship I've always loved from Dima. Dee Dee D-livers. *rimshot* *gunshot*
10. FORGET　MY　HEART/　MARICA (samples really say marica)
At VERY first listen, it's underwhelming. But a few seconds in... it's beautiful. The riff... is also good. This one's promising for SURE.
11. YOU'RE　AMAZING/　NORMA　SHEFFIELD
Somehow overly repetitive for Norma... I could hear the riff being good old Aishu fare, but... I'm 50/50 on the preview.
12. EVERY　HEART　WANNA　FLY/　IRENE
The musicianship on this album stays consistently high... pleasant if a bit clichéd.
13. FLYING　OVER　THE　SKY/　JUNGLE　BILL
Flying over the Sky, Every Heart Wanna Fly... I SEE WHAT U DID THAR AVEX. Rimonti's back!! My inner fanboy is exploding~! Riff is, so far, good.
14. ROCKETMAN /　MEGA　NRG　MAN
Whoadang. Mega is BACK in Initial-D-fodder action! I like this one.
15. LONELY　NIGHT(HEALING　EUROGROOVES　REMIX)/　HELENA
I wanna hear ABeatC/Sunfire/GGM/whoever the hell owns the rights do a healing song soon. This one ain't so bad, except for that snare.
16. LONELY　NIGHT(ITALO　GROOVE ver.)/　HELENA (itunes only)
This is NOT Italo. This would play better in a nightclub in the States, but... if that's Italo Disco... then I'm Brad Pitt.

It doesnt even say Italo disco. Justbecause it says italo doesnt necessarily mean Italo Disco. In fact it There is the sub genre of Italo Dance. Plus it doesnt sound much different than the some other things that appeared on SEB lately.. Fall In Love Again, Lets Get It Done Tonight, Crazy Diamond. Its the same style as that.

1. The Top / Ken Blast:
I've pretty much come to expect quality from Ken Blast. All of his songs are brilliantly-written, and this is no exception. Love the synth hook.
:D

2. Rock My Heart / Roberta
Hmmm. Honestly, I personally think SinclaireStyle has been on a downward spiral as of late. This sounds tired and overproduced. I wasn't a fan of No Turning Back, either, and this doesn't sound much, if any better. I'd far rather listen to Leonardi's hyper techno special collections than I would this.
:(

3. Feel The Magic / Sally
Sara's voice doesn't sound good at all when she tries too hard. I want more songs like Crazy For Love, not this weird aishu-gone-drunk style.
:|

4. Disconnected / Hotblade
This is pretty good, but I seriously can't but think "Wheelpower & Go!" when I hear it, and that might spoil its value for me.
:)

5. Up & Dance, Up & Go / Lou Master
A nice, blood-pumping track, but honestly not the most memorable as far as melodic construction goes. I also thought the verse's development into the chorus was kind of poor in the low-quality para para sample.
:)

6. Dance Boom Boom / Tipsy & Tipsy
Totally not my cup of tea. The chorus sounds amateurish, and overall this doesn't have that magical something that other Saifam tracks possess. Frankly, I think this would sound way better as a bubblegum eurodance track, but in this format, it sounds overdone. It's just not the same Asia Records anymore, not without the brilliant originals that they used to release.
:(

7. Tocuh Me / Nikita Jr.
Not my favorite italo-HRG track by a long shot. This lacks the momentum and dynamic of other songs in the same style. Maybe it'll grow on me once I hear the full version...
:|

8. Sun Fire / Dave & Futura
Melodically, this is quite nice, but it just isn't produced to the point where I can really call it a hit.
:|

9. The Dark Side of the Moon / Dee Dee
This song is actually several years old and from the Vibration catalogue. It's a pretty nice, if not stellar aishu presentation from David Dima.
:)

10. Forget My Heart / Marica
Finally, another track that I'd truly keep! I was really impressed by Stay With Me, and this seems to continue Marica/Marika's streak of memorable performances. Her vocals suit Capaldi's production to a tee, and the synth riff sounds catchy and interesting.
:D

11. You're Amazing / Norma Sheffield
Surprisingly enough, this doesn't sound too bad. It has a pretty steady flow to it, and the synth sounds like it could fit it.
:)

12. Every Heart Wanna Fly / Irene
Easily one of the more musically interesting tracks on here. Irene's vocals are great as ever, too.
:D

13. Flying Over the Sky / Jungle Bill
At first, I thought this was decent, but not great. However, the synth sounds really promising, and I'm excited to hear the rest of this.
:)

14. Rocketman /　Mega NRG Man
Nice, Mega NRG Man's first trip to GGM in quite a while. Perhaps they needed him back to fill in the gap that Manuel left. This track has a lot of substance, and I look forward to hearing the full version.
:D

15. Lonely Night (Healing Eurogrooves Remix) / Helena
I like this particular song, but these Healing remixes are just plain boring and unnecessary. I miss the real Eurogrooves.
:(

16. Lonely Night (Italo Groove ver.) / Helena
Again, no thanks. I'd take the original version or the remix on SEB 168 over this any day.
:(

Overall, this album shows potential around the end (aside from the watered down Lonely Night remixes), but it has a bunch of mediocre samples early-to-midway through. Sorry, but SEB 214 is still the only release from the 200's decade that I'm particularly impressed by.

Naughty avex - always releasing the track list and samples when I'm at work! :P

1. THE TOP / KEN BLAST (Delta)
Oh my god!! This sounds hot as anything - super-awesome chorus and melodies going on, with another assured vocal performance - can't wait for this!

2. ROCK MY HEART / ROBERTA (SinclaireStyle)
This has a fantastic old-school disco melody, but I've never been a massive fan of that style of synth used in the hook. Judgement reserved for now...
:| > :)

3. FEEL THE MAGIC / SALLY (Dima)
Definitely Dima from the stylings of the production. Must be another new vocalist as I don't recognise the tone, although I'm sure she is familiar (perhaps another vocalist that's moved to Dima from another label...?) Sounds pleasant, but need to hear more...
:) > :|

4. DISCONNECTED / HOTBLADE (SCP)
Hotblade just goes from strength to strength - this is another fantastic performance from him, and cements his place at the top of the tree in SCP's current line-up.

5. UP & DANCE, UP & GO / LOU MASTER (SCP)
Kinda disappointed they put both male SCP tracks together, but they are different enough I guess (and I always have my playlist on shuffle anyway...) This is pure old-school SCP at its very best, and I'm still convinced that this is Ennio on the vocals! It does have a Eurogrooves sound to it, so that's nice to hear.

6. DANCE BOOM BOOM / TIPSY & TIPSY (Saifam/Asia)
Gutted me didn't get So Close To The Heaven. This sounds like a bad 90's dance remake that would be played in holiday camps on the Spanish Costas. Won't win Saifam any new fans, but it certainly isn't unlistenable.
:|

7. TOUCH ME / NIKITA JR. (Hi-NRG Attack)
Wow, we still have the slow HRG style!! But more than ever, this seems artificially slowed-down, which is a disappointment. The melody is nice, but I find myself wishing the BPM was cranked up even just by about 10 to give it a little more life.
:) > :|

8. SUN FIRE / DAVE & FUTURA (Sun Fire)
A typical Dave Rodgers plus female duet - in fact, this one has more or less the same chord progression as Dance In My Town but the melody is nowhere near as strong. Judgement reserved...
:) > :|

9. THE DARK SIDE OF YOUR MOON / DEE DEE (Dima)
Pleasant Dima aishu male track that doesn't appear to break any new boundaries. Normally Dima productions sound far better in full and in better quality, so I'll reserve judgement.
:| > :)

10. FORGET MY HEART / MARICA (Delta)
I'm assuming this is "Stay With Me" Marika - she's still going for the innocent sound, and the slightly slower style. The melody reminds a bit of Memories by Orlando, and the synth hook sounds pretty cute!
:)

11. YOU'RE AMAZING / NORMA SHEFFIELD (Sun Fire)
Oh god, she's back!! I can't say I've missed Norma at all, but at least she doesn't sound anywhere near as nasally here as she has in previous songs! Might be okay, but the sample doesn't overly excite me...
:|

12. EVERY HEART WANNA FLY / IRENE (SCP)
This sounds like the theme from a Disney movie or something - quite a unique arrangements for Eurobeat and Irene in particular, but I miss her trademark style quite a bit. This will have a tough job keeping up with the quality of Lou Master & Hotblade...
:)

13. FLYING OVER THE SKY / JUNGLE BILL (Hi-NRG Attack)
Does he sing "Blackjack, big tomato" at the start of this sample??? How bizarre! I think this one sounds pretty cool actually, although it does seem to have some fairly miss-matched ideas going on at different parts of the song!
:)

14. ROCKETMAN / MEGA NRG MAN (???)
What label is this? It doesn't have the horrible Sun Fire percussion or mega-bass... could it be an A-Beat C relic? Whatever, it sounds pretty fab - lots of passion and testosterone! Can't wait to hear the rest!

15. LONELY NIGHT(HEALING EUROGROOVES REMIX) / HELENA (Eurogrooves)
Yawn! To be honest, Eurogrooves past couple of Healing Remixes have been very well executed, but I never get mega-hyped for them...
:|

16. LONELY NIGHT(ITALO GROOVE ver.) / HELENA (Eurogrooves) (itunes only)
I like the sound of this one. Although it sounds more like commercial dance music than Italo Disco. There is the faint hint of classic Eurogrooves saw synths in the background!
:)

A mixed bag as ever, but I'm super hyped for Ken Blast, Hotblade, Lou Master, and Mega NRG Man. There is also the possibility that a couple of the other tracks - Marika, Jungle Bill, Irene and Roberta - might impress when I hear the full versions. Just over a week left to go!! I'll be keeping any eye out for the SCP tracks on International iTunes before then though :)

Actually, it's a different song (also, it's "The Dark Side Of Your Moon"). It's a bit confusing, especially that Dima hasn't used the Dee Dee alias since he left Vibration. :P

I think it's the same Sara as in Heather, but I could be wrong.

Rocketman should be GGM because there are no other GGM songs on this album. oooo just found this. maybe it's not GGM? http://www.ascap.org/ace/search.cfm?req ... 25&start=1 giancarlo as one of the writers

@cheeseman: Just Another Song For You / Dee Dee feat. Lisa. And yeah, Dark Side Of The Moon is a lot different production than "The Dark Side Of Your Moon." "Dark Side Of The Moon" is VIB142 on eurobeat catalog if someone wants to check it out.

Now that I listen again, you might be right with the vocalist being Sara - the way she sings "in my way" and "every day" has a very distinctive quality that I've only really heard from her.

Maybe the Mega NRG Man is GGM - it just doesn't sound completely like their style, but I guess you could say the same about Let's Get It Done Tonight... I can definitely hear the Pasquini influence that's for sure!

Haha, indeed it's confusing! After listening to the sample for The Dark Side of Your Moon, my comments are pretty much the same as when I was referring to The Moon. It's a good aishu track that isn't groundbreaking or anything but just sounds nice. I do kind of like the synth hook for the new track, though.

Samples and tracklist on the same day. For the mostpart this cd showcases some hot samples right up my alley.

1. THE　TOP/　KEN　BLAST
DELTA's own hitmaking machine is back with a Blast! Travis has had nothing, but hits in my book. Wonderful riff and I hear a very promising melody stirring up in the verses. Definately in my top 3.
:D 8)

2. ROCK　MY　HEART/　ROBERTA
I'm enjoying her vocals more than the synths. Might grow on me once I hear the whole tune. Must have an incredible intro for it to sound better.
:|

3. FEEL　THE　MAGIC/　SALLY
Even though this clip doesn't win me over 100% ; I can still say that I absolutely love the sounds out of Dima's studio. Crisp and fresh and I hear some old school hand claps in that chorus.
:)

4. DISCONNECTED/　HOTBLADE
Not as groundbreaking as Legendary Heart or the quirky Plastic and he could have been less "Screamy" when he sings "Disconnected", but I really dig that riff, so its definately from the better end.

5. UP＆DANCE, UP＆GO/　LOU　MASTER
Yup, this clip takes the cake for me. At the moment it's pretty much untouchable and if it is Fastway on vocals, then kudos for him for introducing new aliases. I remeber Thomas Lee like if it was yeasterday. Need I say; Perfect Eurobeat zone for me.
8) 8)

6. DANCE　BOOM　BOOM/　TIPSY＆TIPSY
Too much of something going on here and I just can't put my finger on it, but it turns me off. and if you're gonna feature rapping, at least have Mauro Farina do it, not that 90's Italo house reject, whomever he may be. Aweful. Just aweful!
:-x

7. TOUCH　ME/　NIKITA　JR.
Beautuful melody, but must I state the obvious? Nikita Jr. is completely wrong for the artist. Should've been Maddy Layne or Giorgia Barrows. Aside from that, I'm loving it!
:D 8)

8. SUN　FIRE/　DAVE&FUTURA
Nice melody. Somehow I envisioned Sun Fire's them song to be much more aggressive, and a Dave solo along the lines of the Classic "Fire Dragon", but seeing how It's pretty much both Dave's and Futura's project, I guess it makes sense.
:)

9. THE　DARK　SIDE　OF　YOUR　MOON/　DEE　DEE
The original was called "The Dark Side of The Moon" Awesome song That I got off Juno downloads. This one will grow on me. Once again, I enjoy almost anything D Marcantonio releases. I love his vocals. What can I say.
:D

10. FORGET　MY　HEART/　MARICA
Her debut song didn't do much for me, but I'm getting a very strong 90's Eurobeat vibe from this song and her vocal work sounds fresh. She has a naturally teenage sounding vocal, which seems spot on for this Aishu type song.
:D

11. YOU'RE　AMAZING/　NORMA　SHEFFIELD
usually a big Norma Fan, but this sounds too off her zone for me. What happened to her accent? On the other hand, the riff sounds very promising.
:|

12. EVERY　HEART　WANNA　FLY/　IRENE
My initial thought would be "nay", but I hear a damn strong production in there that needs to be heard in it's entirety before I make a hasty judgment. What I don't care for is her vocal tone. They should have given this to Stellato sing.
:| :)

13. FLYING　OVER　THE　SKY/　JUNGLE　BILL
Yes! Rimonti is back. See these are the kinda Male vocals that I really dig. Alot of stress on the lyrics and hard Italian accents. Proboly what most of you don't like, but anyway, this song strikes me hard like "Cataclysm Night" did and has that Jungle Bill melodical stamp like " Put Down Your Gun" and " Laser Gun". I hear a strong opponent for Lou Master and I bonafide hit for HRG Attack.
8) 8)

14. ROCKETMAN /　MEGA　NRG　MAN
Thomas never seizes to amaze me. Strong, aggressive melody for GGMs and I love all those Super Hero themed songs. Why not "RocketMan" Nice way to round up the cd.
:D 8)

15. LONELY　NIGHT(HEALING　EUROGROOVES　REMIX)/　HELENA
I'm telling you guys, It won't be long before we get that "Heartbreaker" healing remix. This song was originally agreesively fast for Helena's style, so this is totally something new. I prefer the Italo mix to this clip.
:|

16. LONELY　NIGHT(ITALO　GROOVE ver.)/　HELENA (itunes only)
this could be interesting, of course It's not gonna be on the cd, so I might as well not even look forward to it.
:) cuz it sounds good :( cuz I'll probobly never hear it.

Good batch of samples. If I like the sample, then chances are I'll like the cd even more and this one spells all systems go. 8)

My favorites from the samples:

THE TOP
FLYING OVER THE SKY
DISCONNETED
EVERY HEART WANNA FLY

I, of course, glad that REAL 3B is back to SEB, but DANCE BOOM BOOM is plainly boring. I'd rather like to have SO CLOSE TO HEAVEN.
the_ditz wrote:Does he sing "Blackjack, big tomato" at the start of this sample???
It sounds like "big tornado" slightly mispronounced to me.
