Whoever designed this page needs to read more on security and best design practices.

The form is made in such a way that each radio button has the same name, meaning that only song (value) at a time can be passed to the server. It should've been implemented using check boxes.

All information (including "sensitive" information like e-mail address) is passed through GET request. Yes the get parameters are encrypted, but SSL is not a crutch for less security as the link could be in browser logs and possible server logs.

No JavaScript form validation is done for user convenience. However, they may do some server-side form validation, which is impossible for me to know.

No error messages are given upon form completion (but maybe that is a good thing since I can't figure out their implementation very easily).

Well, I submitted my votes for the best of compilation. I hope I'm not putting myself into any real trouble, as you, Tiger, seem to know way more about computer programming than I do.

Eh, it's probably implemented fine, it's just definitely not the way I would do it. A lot of the implementation is hidden since the majority of it is in PHP too. The part that bugs me the most is that there is no visible form validation. Using definition lists is an interesting choice though besides tables.

I'm a fifth-year Computer Science major so I better know computer programming. I also made all of the php scripts for http://www.paraparalovers.com which helped me learn a lot more about web development. I also made a very long JavaScript file for new functionality for the website too but I haven't made it public yet because I need to do some more things. I just need the motivation/time to do them. Though, I better make it public eventually because the file is 1.7k lines of code unminified ALL written by myself.

So can you vote multiple times? Like under the same email address?

I don't understand Japanese...

It is unclear if the votes are still counted using same name and/or e-mail address.

I encourage everyone to write at least something in the comment box, if only to remind avex that they have non-japanese fans. (though they probably don't care anyway)

@Tiger Well, the way they implemented it, they want you to choose ONE song from each album which is kind of hard for people that likes the whole album. If we can vote multiple times, I suggest using different names and e-mails just to be sure. And yes, there's doesn't seems to be any validation after a form is sent which is very weird and unusual. Any good web programmer would write some kind of validation : \

EDIT

Voted 4 times for those...

SEB225
Never Say Never / Manuel
Fairy Tale / Cherry
Kool Kitten / Franz Tornado
Hot Hot Racin' Car / Go 2

SEB224
Just Say Yeah / Kaioh (x2)
Dancing In The Streets / David Dima (x2)

SEB223
Into The Sunrise / Dave Rodgers
Tonight In Paradise / Belight
Welcome To The Show / Tanith & Dark Evil (x2)

SEB222
Dance In The Starlight / Ace
Sunlight / Kaioh
Last Of Eurobeat / Mark Farina
Boys Do Fall In Love

SEB221
SEB 4 U (Power Mix) / SEB All-Stars Feat. DJ Boss
Loving Eurobeat / Dejo & Bon
Kiss / Bamboo Bimbo
Dance Eurobeat / Heather Feat. David Dima

Other songs I would like to add votes to:
Tearful Eyes/Les
SEB 4 U (Wild Mix) / SEB All-Stars Feat. DJ Boss
Wild Boys (Original Ver.) / Rich Hard
You Could Be Mine / Dream Fighters
Wacky-Wacky-O! / Scream Team
Born To Be Wild In My Car / Cy-Ro
Gimme Love / Norma Sheffield
Beat Around / Les & Megan

Mmmm, pretty sure it's one song per vote. I tried this multiple times and you can only choose one song (out of the 75 odd songs), not one song per album.

So whatever you chose last was your choice for that vote.

Apparently you weren't around to vote for songs on the last download countdown album (SEB170). Try narrowing your choice down to four songs from the entire eurobeat genre.

Personally, I'm not one for tainting the voting system like you all appear to be doing or want to do; I'm sure that's going to sit incredibly well with Avex who already despise international eurobeat fans for various reasons. I'm only voting for one song per album.

SEB221: SUPER DRIVER / DANIEL
SEB222: BOYS DO FALL IN LOVE / LOU MASTER
SEB223: CRAZY LITTLE LOVE / NUAGE
SEB224: DREAMERS / PAUL HARRIS
SEB225: MAYBE ONE DAY / KAREN

Actually it only lets you vote for one song altogether, so whichever one you picked last is the one going through.

Whoa you can't say that because you don't know the database design.

Pick a radio button in one album and then pick one in another, and the first one is deselected. It only lets you pick one song from the whole page.

It seems to me that Avex wants us to vote for one song for the entire year.

Ah, I was referring to doing multiple entries. Your OP was unclear.
