What is a simifile?

Post by drnrg » 11 May 2015, 04:58

...and more important? How does it apply to Eurobeat?

The reason I ask is because of your art work. It seems you wanna make a sort of album art for the song. I see a name Name and Title. Nice colour combos ect.., but why do you guys make it look rectangle when most cover art for music is usually square. How would it even show up on your foobar or whatever player you use that showcases album art?
Just curious?

If I'm right these are used for DDR and include rhythmic information for the game

DarkSky, yes and no.

A simfile (that came the *.sm file extension) is a file that defines a dance chart in StepMania which is a PC/Mac/Linux open-source clone for Dance Dance Revolution where you can put your own songs in as long as you create a simfile/dance chart for it.

That's all there is to it.
