Subject matter in songs

Where have all the naughty/sex songs gone?

We had Hot Milk, and one Manual song, and I guess Bed Girl, but like...think back to the just a few years ago...

Tora - Bad Joy
Go Go Girls - Sex Skiller
Nikita Jr. - Touch Me

And then back to the 90s,
Like A Virgin
Super Sex Symbol
Love, Sex, & Money
Bad Desire
Sex Over The Phone
90% of Hi-NRG Attk tracks

Is Avex just leaning away from tracks with that subject matter?

On the other hand, where are all the tracks about ParaPara???

without Gino Caria; the naughtyness factor went down. Also it's no longer the 80s and 90s. :(

Songs about racing and cars also went down .

I doubt that's Avex's doing. Maybe writers just don't touch on it anymore. Feels like SS is the one studio that tries for meaningful lyrics anymore.

SinclaireStyle and Delta were always the champions of lyrics, no contest. Asia was also pretty solid. Other labels have been okay at best (A-Beat C, SCP), embarrassing at worst (TIME, Dima, Hi-NRG Attack).

Not necessarily. You forget a lot of songs like Sex on Fire, Sex Crime, Hot Gal, Sexy Gal, etc.

There was a discussion about this in some other thread, and I said it there, but it's worth saying again: Feel My Body and My Soul is the best <3

Should I remind for who Eurobeat has been doing...

Analysis lyrics by people who every day talk in their national language - english, may provide shocking results, but absolutely can't be judged negatively.

95% of Japanese as 30 years ago, as today know only "Good morning" and "Good bye". Young and mature.

In Eurobeat lyrics it's all about rhymes, lyrics have impact on melody. Same text and its meaning in Japan, well, no one cares, except they might try to sing.

Anyway the universal subjects like "dance", "love" made once songs the most sensible. Grammar never been correct, because otherwise this was impossible to get good song.

Since the subject of lyrics is totally free, sometimes producers go too far and tracks for us who understand, are so cheesy that head hurts.

Let's take a look at Time Records:

1990 - Queen For a Day :)

............................................
1994 - Every Dog Has His Day :o

1995 - Animal Criminal :o

1996 - Hula Hula Hop :o

Great songs, but indeed head hurts if you're aware what means already the title... For japanese who doesn't know, great music, rhyme, sounds very nice.

Songs about Sex are my favorites. I think it does have to do with Avex, because HRG Attack still dishes them out, but AVEX doesn't choose them.
One of most recent from last year.

Nikita Jr. - Two Hot Milks Are Better Than One
