Check the end. It's the same ending but fading in closing on the Euromach 100.

The SCP version fails. They didn't put the fade out.

Personally, I’ve always hated fadeouts that occur during loud, busy synth hooks anyway (they’re more appropriate for quieter sections like the outro of “Pararappa Dance” and several mid-1990s Hi-NRG Attack productions), so I prefer to just modify the mp3 to end normally instead. I’d rather the track end with a bang than have it seem to end prematurely, like the DJ wants to move past it before it’s even ready. Thank goodness SCP started doing this far less in later years.

There's no "bang", it's like it was cuted before the end
0:00 to 0:25 is Eurobeat Kudos 12
0:27 to 0:55 is Euromach 100 (TunesToTube cuted the last second...)

I don't mean I prefer "Solid Gold" cutting off at the wrong point, I just mean I would rather end the song like "Midnight" by Tomas Lee and "Hey Ho, Let's Go" by Dusty, which end at full volume as opposed to fading out in the midst of the ongoing chaos.

I would prefer Eurobeat tracks beginning and ending with intro/outro segments so this genre could be, I dunno, properly DJ-continuously mixed like all other genres of EDM.

Mixed like slower music where you overlap the outro and intro beats? I never liked that style because it sounds so boring.
Eurobeat is (well of course dependant on the era) fast paced and therefore we should have sharp and rapid transitions.

I like the way SEB is mixed (mostly) because you don't waste any time with slowly moving from one track to another but rather to keep the pace up and push the fader to its limit.
Transitions like Different Girl -> Get Somebody To Love Him (SEB240, Disc 2, Track 7/8) are in my opinion the best.

I wonder if the fades in these tracks are there because they knew Avex didn't plan to use them in full, and so didn't worry about ending the song?

Similarly might be the reason Solid Gold simply stops rather than ending properly.

If I understood correctly, Go Racin' Go isn't a Fastway song.

It's Go 2. BUT it was sent as a Fastway song by mistake to Avex.

EDIT:
DOUBLE MESS. it was fastway. They switched again HAHAHAHA

First post:
Go Racin' Go: the artist was Go2 and not Fastway

I wonder if "Big Love" is the same song as the Larry Queen track, sung by Gianni Coraini, from Euroenergy Vol.2? It's not Nick Mansell, but I wouldn't be surprised if the catalogue listing is incorrect like it was for "People Say I'm Crazy" and "Never Together". The production itself sounds quite similar to other tracks made during the genesis of Double Records, so it's entirely plausible it's another case similar to "Burning Up All Night" and "Night Flight".

Seems possible. Though the SCP Euroenergy ones seemed to all have different song titles from the 'real' titles (probably as a half-assed attempt to avoid detection?), and "Big Love" is the same title as on Euroenergy.

Well, the fact that the vocalist is Gianni and not Nicola is already a diversion in itself. Maybe it could have been called "Let's Make Love" or "Freedom of Your Desire" instead, but the song definitely doesn't sound like an A-Beat C production in spite of Gianni being the singer. Honestly, it would possibly even explain why Stefano Castagna has had so much trouble locating the original master for Eurobeat Kudos, since it's odd that a Gianni song would be labelled under the Nick Mansell title at some point and it seems like they had trouble deciding how to finalize the track when they made it.

I wonder if there's a different version of the same song that uses the same production but has Nicola on the lead vocals instead? Based on stuff like "Let Me Be Your Angel", "Queen of the Night", and "Mind Invaders", first draft productions seem to have been quite a thing with SCP over the years.

Any news on whether SCP have located the missing tracks yet?
