I don't think they are any lyrics in booklets for those songs.

But I do know that there are also lyrics in Wa Euro Best that also aren't on this website. They don't use romaji though obviously, which brings up another question. Why don't you use hiragana/kanji/katakana for Japanese songs?

This is indeed the case Tiger, I don't own any of the Digibeat albums and wasn't even aware if the booklets would have the lyrics. So would most certainly be glad to get the missing lambs on the site :)

I'm not sure if any of the Blast!-tracks have had written lyrics on booklets. If anyone else can answer this for me with more certainty I'd be glad. Got a few assorted albums here and there but none of them have lyrics typed in.[/quote]

cant find the lyrics for that song ;_;
Somehow missed that line earlier, wasn't even aware that Play Loud was missing from the database. Well it's been added, late as usual.

Back when I started the database it wasn't capable of adding hiragana/kanji or katanana to mysql, I doubt it's no longer the case though. But I just kept adding stuff romanized due to consistency's sake. But I wouldn't turn down proper japanese lyrics either these days. I gotta doublecheck if the database can hold them though.

EDIT: OOOr actually the case still seems to be that the mysql database doesn't like kanji... Initial test at least failed. The problem is mostly that the database tolerates the kanjis but something in the site script currently doesn't know how to output it back to the site.

Also the other reasoning was mostly that since I am not capable of writing or reading them so proof checking is really difficult to do. Plus the site did initially want to be the source for non Japanese people mostly. So even us illiterate scrubs would recognize song titles and artists :)

hrm, are your tables/server UTF-8/unicode? There's a few stuff on Google, but I don't have access to server so can't troubleshoot :x

just did this for now, since the lyrics are very interesting. I'm assuming Dr. K. is Takase Kazuya but I could be horribly wrong.

A Tourist / Debbie

He used to be a boy dreaming of the state
Just one of the wanna-bes
He came to pitch for the team
He is a hero making lots of memories

Do you understand who I am talking about? It's Dr. K.
Why don't you tell me how to
Get to the stadium of the team in LA?

Tell me how to get, some one tell me
How to get tickets in Japanese
Tell me how to get, some one tell me
How to get tickets in Japanese
Sun-shin! Sun-shin! Lots of Sun-shins
He's around
Ban-zai! Ban-zai! So happy, so happy
Now he's on the mound

I'm not alone, I'm inside a big crowd
They want to see only one
He came to pitch from my land
He is a hero, he is the one, only one

Sun-shin! Sun-shin! Lots of Sun-shins
He's around
Ban-zai! Ban-zai! So happy, so happy
Now he's on the mound

(i'll use submit lyrics form on main site from now on :P)

Much appreciated, I'll try to doublecheck the mysql settings later today when I'm done with some work. Would be good to get it in order.

hrm i just submitted Why Don't You Dance Again / Viscious V.

This is the second time I've seen digibeat use lyrics that are not final drafts.

A-melo:

You are just sitting
Looking through windows
And you are wondering
What to do girl [should be What to do today ?]
Back in the hunted [Like a hermit?]
Flying at shadows [Hiding in shadows?]
Waiting for something
Bad to be worried [That will take you away]

This is what I think they should be but open to debate of course. Most digibeat songs are hard to understand so I might be mishearing things.

Dark-Eyed Traveller -> Dark-Eyed Traveler

it is traveler on both euro 2 cd and vhs

Radiorama - Bye Bye Baby

This really exists? I thought it was just Max Coveri as artist.

Good question, twas submitted and I didn't really question it as mah knowledge on older stuff isn't as extensive as the newer ones.

This song is on the Radiorama album The Legend. It is the last track of the B-side, and the track is described as:

Bye Bye Baby (Duet with Max Coveri)

So I'd say it is both Radiorama and Max Coveri.

Yeah will add them when I got my next day off. On a way too long of a work streak currently with limited free time.

finally finished copying euro 2 lyrics. check your lyrics inbox bore :P

Don't You Remember / Gina

One day on the street I saw you, baby
You were smiling at a pretty lady
Didn't you notice I was there, baby?
It's because I had a hair cut, maybe

I don't care who you are going out with
I don't care what you are going to do
I can tell you that you are at your zenith
I can tell I am a stranger to you

Don't you remember that I was part of your life
Once upon a time?
I still remember that I was in love with you
I was in my prime
And at last you walked away 'cause it was too much

I used to like to call you "My honey"
You used to like to go after money
When I dreamed about making a journey
You just dreamed about finding somebody

Don't you remember that I was part of your life
Once upon a time?
I still remember that I was in love with you
I was in my prime
And at last you walked away 'cause it was too much
Don't you remember that I was part of your life
Once upon a time?
I still remember that I was in love with you
I was in my prime
And at last you walked away 'cause it was too much

don't think I've ever heard the word zenith in a eurobeat song. o_O
