If you could submit to a pro production unit that could make a nice tune ;)

Yes, it's another one. I think it's a bit better than previous ones, hopefully you do too...

Mikaeru - Akira

Looking for love, I see you
Beat of my heart, I hope you
Notice my eye upon you, give a signal
Wind in the hair, I wonder
As you come near, the thunder
Grows in my mind,
You gently ask for my hand

Never forget that you make me feel right,
In the city, under the moon.
Never give up, we can be together,
Please don't stop this moment.

Akira, you're my fantasy.
Akira, you're my destiny.
Akira, give me ecstasy.
It's no shame, I'm your game.

Akira, you're my fantasy.
Akira, you're my destiny.
Akira, be my legacy.
In the night, give no fight.

Walking beside your body,
Looking into your dark eyes,
Wondering what the reason I am with you
Knowing the rest can't see us
Sharing what is within us
Wanting the taste of your kiss on this evening

I like the synths a lot, They have a good sound, but the vocals just don't capture that Eurobeat sound.

I'm right now in the middle of producing a song. It's called: Fly With Me. The lyrics are done by me.

Download here: http://toniproductions.nl/Resources/Fly ... Aplha).mp3 (copy link)

I will give every beat of my heart
like a wonderful dream, and you will be happy
when I saw you right here from the start
you just had to be mine, just to have you near me

when I wake up in the morning light, baby
when you wrap your arms around me
hold me, baby
this shining star is not far you see

fly with me baby,
fly across the sky
fly with my fire,
fly into the night

I still haven't got the lyrics for A2 Melo yet, some cares to write some for me??

NOTE: this song is the alpha version, so the sounds aren't that balanced out yet. I just would like some comments on how it could be improved. (not only equalizing)

Hmmm... Interesting start. It'll probably sound like I'm bashing a lot, I don't mean to, I hope you find these comments helpful, with some work, this song could sound a lot better.

You might want to change the drum samples. They sound pretty muddy, there's not a real crisp strong beat to them. And add in those off-beat hi-hats.

I'm not sure what to say about your synth sounds. Try doubling sounds, experiment more with them. They sound fairly weak, and I think need the most work.

I'd almost get rid of that low pad/string (the instrument that enters at about 0:29). It muddies down the song, and makes the bass harder to hear. On that note, get instruments out of the bass' way, it's really hard to hear.

Try putting in some sounds to support the vocals, especially at the chorus. The vocals sound really seperate from the song itself. As well, add in more lines to contrast the vocals. While you add in sounds here or there, they still do their own thing, and last for a bit. Try throwing in the odd run here and there to go against the vocals, and fill up some empty space.

The vocals are okay. I know they're the one thing you can't do much about. They do seem a bit muffled, though, in terms of something you did in production. They've lost a lot of the high end sound, it seems like.

What did you use for finishing up the levels? (on that note, what did you use to make the song?) It sounds like it was just run through a hard limiter, which might be in part to blame for the weaker synth sounds.

It's a good basis of a song so far, you should keep working at it. Just keep experimenting with different sounds.

I really like it. Although I'm not sure it's "eurobeat". Really good... hyper-techno? Not sure... I like the synth sounds. What did you use for them?

As a eurobeat song, it's really hard to get a feel for it. There isn't a strong melody line I can tell would be the vocal line. And it doesn't really seem to fit the eurobeat form. (intro-amelo-bmelo-sabi-intro)

So it's an amazing song, I'm just not sure it's *eurobeat*.

Half of eurobeat is its vocals, so I can understand why you don't hear it right now.

I assure you, however, it is and is intended to be straight-up generic ethnic eurobeat.

Well, I agree with most of Mikaeru's views. You definately need some crisper samples. Though, it's not without its charm. You also need to re-sync the whole production, it seems your bassdrum comes in a bit early.

Definately off to a great start, though.
Be the sound you feel inside your voice!

No clue about that, but hey, here's something new.

The vocals are a bit off the time in places, gonna fix that up tomorrow, but I wanted comments/advice on it so far.

Mikaeru - Massive Destruction

(Yes, I'm aware a song with that title is incredibly calm :P)

Bomb squad burning
Energy is turning
In the fire, in the darkness
Heart is purring
Hot loving is stirring
Give in to desire

Image on the page
Giving all the rage
There's no climax, there's no meaning
There is not an ending to this...

Massive! Massive destruction
Feel the power, feel the energy
Sexual! Sexual seduction
Give in to your heart's desire
Massive! Massive destruction
Burning fire, blast me high tonight
Yaoi! Yaoi instruction
Come on give it to me harder

Manga image
Emotion is spilling
On the wire, feeding data
Passion lighting
Hot desire fighting
Make me feel I want it

----

If you get the references, yes this IS a tribute song for her. :P
