Hm...does anyone else think that Betty Beat sounds almost exactly like Lilibeth from SEB 156?

Mikaeru
Mystic Love I liked, but I can't help but wonder if it would've been better if, say, Lucya had done the vocals. It just seems like just a female-oriented production, not that Jay did a bad job on the vocals, they're nice, but it's just such a Lucyaesque production.
Funny. I feel exactly the oppisite. I agree "Mystic Love" is great, but it's those male vocals that made it such a hit for me. If a female had sung it, I probly would not of enjoyed it as much(Unless it was Elena Ferretti). Now that I think of it, SCP soundworlds don't sound that bad when showcasing male vocals. EX: Ace- "My Valentine",Dusty- "It's My Life", Jay Lher- "Mystic Love". All favs of mine. Duets are another story. I don't like those too much.

Hmmm I don't think she sounds the same. There are some accents that are somewhat different. ._.

Okay, this is driving me mental...

Why do people keep referring to "soundworlds"?? What the heck are they meant to be! Please tell me if I've missed something! :D

This might just be a Finnish saying that I've randomly directly translated to English. Basically it means the type of sounds and effects used in the song. Probably not actual English but I'm still gonna use it.

Do you mean like synths or instrumentation?

I thought it was someone playing tricks with the forum word filter

Well the concept of the actual word isn't actually very easy to define. Guess you think of the meaning in your head yourself. I use it in various contexts, can be used just to describe the type of synth used, the bass, the extra instruments or all together.
Mostly when I use the word in a review or so, I basically mean how the song sounds, all of the instruments/effects put together. If I separately mention bass/synth or such, then I might not include that part in the definition of soundworld...

Maybe not the simplest or most easy to define thing, but I like the word and even though it might not qualify as a proper English-dictionary word, I prefer to use it like I so far have.

Favorites of SEB 178

Post by EurothunderNL » 12 Jun 2007, 19:17

1 - Kasanova / 2 Hearts 4 love
2 - Delta Queens / Damm Damm my love
3 - Pamsy / Babyface
4 - Sara / Crazy for love
5 - Leslie Hammond / SOS and loving all around
6 - Mr M / The world is you
7 - Mad cow / Get my hot gun
8 - Mara Nell / Hot gal

Actually HRG is my fav label but some songs from I Tunes are much better in my opinion than the HRG songs on this album :::

Joe Banana / Ghetto blaster
Giorgia Barrows / Lost in time
Black Eva / Like a cinderella
Jee Bee / Wanna love you tenderly
Alice in paraparaland / Peek-a-boom
Black Eva / Why

Ow sorry .. off topic ..

I just think the accents sound different because she is singing in a different style. As far as her vocal range goes it's exactly the same. It really sounds a lot like her.

Bore has the basic idea by saying it could mean different things to different fans. In my context I use it to describe the basic instruments, melodiess and vocal styles each label uses. Ex: SCP= Transy,Airy
AbeatC= Rocky,Noisy, TIME=Accoustic,Romantic,HRG Attack=chaotic,Warped. These are just some descriptions I've read on the forums.

I want the lyrics for SEB 178, not 179 (179 is fucking shit not worth to be released). The lyrics I want the most :

- Get My Hot Gun
- Glorious
- Babyface
- My Heart Goes Boom Boom
- Mystic Love
- The World Is You
- Damn Damn My Heart
- No Religion
椛ちゃん、助けてぇぇぇぇぇ!
