Not using all the classics can be a good thing, Jion. This way you won't have exactly the same album every 10 SEB's. (; I actually prefer them using some less known 'jewels' than bringing us another night of fire-esq tracklist. ;x

Haha awesome, soul gasoline is finally returning! I am secretly hoping for a Soul Gasoline 2007 or 2008 during the 180s

I agree with Nine. While 180 may not have alot of stuff from the 170s, there is certainly an awesome amount of good s**t from 100-180. The first cd is like heaven because it contains most of my favorite songs.

And those complaining about the lack of 170s, wait til 190...they'll be there.

I agree with you and myself! 1x0's are Anniversary nonstops! If people want a 170 themed one, we should just all email and ask AVEX to bring back the 1X3 1X5/6 nonstops!!!1 ...or seriously, just wait for Best of 2007. :)

The hell is wrong with you people who hate the compilations. Sometimes they're really good, as proven by this tracklisting. I mean, Soul Gasoline? Hell yeah.

I wish I could hate you to death

Dude I adore compilations, just not when they could have attempted something a bit more original. It's not that I dislike the songs but I do believe they could try harder to put on good songs that don't see the day of light is all. Like make themselves a rule or something that says if it's already been on two non-stop albums in the last few years then they can't touch it. Plus it helps make the song more fresh when they come back to it and it's not as stale.

That's a nice rule of thumb. For instance Mike Hammer- Dancing Crazy Is No Crime" and Teddyboy-"master Of Sex" havn't seen too many compilations..and they are GREAT songs! On the other hand AVEX mixes for shit. Either by adding random effects from other songs or just cutting, so in the end, they are really no big deal :|

Can't say anything other than, I DISAGREE. I've always thought the anniversary compilations have been very well done and the mixes in general are very high quality. Many of the tracks I don't care for have earned a justified mixing on the compilations.

Also I don't really wonder at all why the big compilations sell better than the regular SEBs, I at least love to collect all of these and play them on the car.

Don't get me wrong. I still buy them all for the songs(I'm that addicted). I just wished the mixing was done in old skool style when one song was mixed gradually onto the other in so giving it effect that songs were both part of each other., but I do agree that the Anniversary comps are of better quality..

Not as good as 150, but it still kicks ass! I wonder if will showcase past hits like the latter?

Haha, yeah that is a bit of a Dark In The Night rip-off, but with a twist.

For some reason, I was more excited about 170 than this one - I can't really remember why! :D
