Everything that is eurobeat can be discussed here.

I think that's prolly true, if you see the avex Eurobeat site, it seems their new direction to Eurobeat is "Cool and Pop" whatever that means.

This wasn't the greatest album by any means... had a few moments that were entertaining... Come on Hi-NRG, release some songs we haven't heard before! Or release full / extended versions of the songs we want!

It'd be a shame if they went in this direction.... I can go to the local store and buy "Cool and Pop".... I want something more! Please save our Eurobeat!

My 1/2 cents review

1. O-Zone - Dragostea Din Tei 4/5
Speeded up song made it better. Annoying yodelling chorus that
remained couldn't save this song. The Eurobeat synth portion neither
adds or detracts from the song.

2. Manuel - All The Best 3.25/5
Poor poor Manuel, he had to steal songs from the females side. They
made the song faster to add to his maleness but this song is best
suited for a female singer. And poor Manuel either had saliva stuck in
his throat or what else coz he was mumbling throughout the whole
song. The song is saved by the melody if you can shut out
EVERYTHING else.

3. Queen 26 - Going Crazy 4.5/5
Ahh! The controversial Queen 26! I can imagine this playing at some
chill-out club. This is not disco, it is 90s upgrade to disco. And it is the
second non-Eurobeat song in the 150s era. I want to hear more of this!
More Queen 26

4. Powerful T - Original Sin 3/5
The chorus is horrible! Where is the Powerful T that sang I Feel Wild
Tonight, Over The Rainbow, Fall In The Web? This song may be
eurobeat but it is not memorable. His voice must be used for songs
which can inspire but this song is FLAT. I couldn't understand the
overall good reviews for this song... I want J. Storm!!!

5. Captain America - Space Fighter 2.5/5
After the awesome Maxx Ducati in Million Dollars (cha! cha! cha!), the
sole Vibration representation is the most average eurobeat song ever.
So average song gets average score.

6. Delta Queens - Blue 3.5/5
Imagine a song where there is quite a good melody somewhere and a
catchy chorus, if you can disentangle it from the weird beats and
rhythms they inserted into the song. Who placed this song in a
blender? Catchy chorus saved this song though

7. Van T.K. - Never Gimme Up 4.25/5
Yay! I can imagine myself skipping over the hills and near the lake
with his song. It is this happy and relaxing!!! Now this is eurobeat!
More Van T.K. please

8. Go Go Girls - I Wanna Be Fat 4.25/5
This must be the only song ever that mixes fat with sex. Catchy song,
if only the melody is stronger. Still not up to King & Queen standards
though.

9. Franz Tornado - One Night With Bazooka Belly Dancers 4.5/5
Finally, one EXCELLENT Hi-NRG song. After that triple terror in 153,
my hopes for HI-NRG have sunk to dreaded levels. I love the arabic
chants, the na-na-nas and the female vocals (Baby or Bazooka Girl?)
This is on par with the super duper excellent I Want your Balalaika
from 141. Currently the highest scorer in this album.

What? You want to hear more of this? Why are you buying SEB albums?
For non-eurobeat songs? It's like you buy an Ibiza-mix (you know the hottest club musics in Europe) including some original not-remixed Metallica and Blink182 songs. Horrible!!!
I want Eurobeat on Super Eurobeat albums! and somebody kill Queen 26 please...

Queen 26 should not die.............yet. Unless they release a bad song.

Reasons why I like this song
1. I was grading it based on it being a song, not as a eurobeat song. It
was catchy, it has cool disco beats, and it could fit in a Kylie Fever
album. If I had graded it on a eurobeat genre, it will fail horribly.

2. It was fresh and right after poor Manuel's song. And it is Cool and
Pop! :D

I've tried doing that for the most part (grading the songs how they work in their genre), but I'm slowly getting tired with the constant exposure of songs that aren't even slightly like eurobeat. The genre itself is what I love, I don't really care for disco stuff like Kylie, so if the next SEB features some tracks that just aren't anything like eurobeat, I'll probably give them really crappy grades.

Most definatly Baby Bazooka. (Was on her album too)

I also had a thought. The background singers for part of this song are probably the same ones that they use for the various "Franz Tornado" and "Mad Cow" songs (e.g. The "Mad Cow" Girls, The Yamanba-Gals, The Supertroyka Girls, The Bazooka Girls...) I would be very amused if they produced a song where they were the main vocalists and like the back up was Franz or Mad Cow.

Just a thought.... hehehe :)

Thanks Chico Chico! Isn't it funny that I cannot differentiate between Baby and Bazooka girl herself? I mean if this song has not been released in Baby's album, who knows who is that singer?

Couldn't finish the review at all...just giving our snippets
Karen - 3/5
I never did like Karen and her Norma Sheffieldish style of song. In my opinion, this song sounds TOO similar to Never Let You Go for me to like it properly

Nando - 4/5
Catchy and interesting. This is getting to be a interesting E-rotic style album with having toyboys and fat girls not wanting to marry and having sex. Just minus all the moaning...

Za-Za and Leslie Parrish 4/5
Cannot differentiate between the 2 songs. Very similar sounding but nice melodies

Symbol - 2/5
Forever Young was unmemorable. So was this.

Nuage - 3.75/5
Still Love sounds like I Really Wanna Be Your Magic (which is catchier).
Overall one of the worst Nuage song ever, only losing to that awful cover in 153 and It's Holiday.

Ace - 4.25/5
I would have liked it more if it was slower and less rocking, much like Moon Child. But it turned out nice all the same

Sheila - Na Na Na Na 4.5/5
Does eurobeat every sound like this? It is catchy as hell and as infectious as measles. Gives Cherry's Sha La La a run for her money. Most cheery sounding song in whole album.

Freddy Rogers 3/5
Boring screaming 13 year old kid. Reminds me of Aaron Carter... shudders...

Overall OK album, with highlights in Queen 26  , Franz Tornado :D and Na Na Na Na Na

Well Bazooka Girl may throw you off sometimes, as her voice is different in a few of her songs... (e.g. - "Velfarre 2000" compared to "Mister Robinson")... But that's because HI NRG Attack likes to record the artists in one key and then morph it to another key to create a desired effect.

Baby Bazooka on the other hand has fewer releases and well... Her voice is quite distinctive being in that she's like 8 years old. That and any song thus far she has sung or featured on was released on her CD (and like every version of the song as well).

Soon she will branch off into pop and become mega popular and then we can always sigh and say we knew her when she was 8/9
