I have a question to all of you.
What do you think labels would do if Avex stops the SEB series? ( I'm not telling you this will happen, but what will they do IF it's going to happen? )
Do you think FARM-Records is willing to license music from these labels and start a new serie/continue the LovePara² serie?
Just say what you think that will happen
It's the time to think about this now
Why did the chicken cross the road?
Lol... Anyway I think from how passionate it got that the convo has strayed too much. I can sympathize with you Sjored. It gets harder to pay for things when your a student or (in my instance) going through chemotherapy and you can't buy the music you want. I'm sure everyone in some form has used napster/kazaa/winmx/limewire to get some eurobeat. I'm sure in the end the producers sympathize with that which is why the albums were released on iTunes. That and to boost their profit margins lol...
To answer your question though Sjored, digital distribution. Rodgers/Contini Publishing would probably put their own series on iTunes/Juno after seeing the success Newfield's had there. Then talking to clubs to promote dances would be a simple thing since the producers visit the clubs often.

Stop City Lover Can't You Break My Style?
I know I'm so late to post this.. I think what the commercial says is: A man who listens to eurobeat is just old man so he is obstinate to use PC. In contrast, the man who uses Mac is comparatively young.Mikaeru wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOW_rZnTaN4#Infinity wrote:Are you freaking kidding me? That commercial implies that eurobeat is just 'old' music to japanese people. So it indirectly makes fun of eurobeat listeners in a sense.

And these commercial really don't ''promote'' the genre at all.
In a similar vein, the "young, cool Mac guy" never says something like "I listen to hip-hop" or anything along those lines, he simply talks about iTunes and digital music in general, and suggests that the older guy should consider using a Mac to store his Eurobeat collection. So I don't believe the advert is deliberately or indirectly trying to mock Eurobeat in any way at all...vinyl12 wrote:I know I'm so late to post this..
