Can someone PLEASE help me get this sound!!!

Post by showbiznine » 09 Jul 2009, 16:42

I've been trying for months to get the lead sound from the sample below, but no matter ho hard I try or what VST I use, I just can't get it.

Is it some kind of well kept eurobeat secret? Cuz no one else seems to know it either.

Any help would be appreciated, even if it's puuting me out of my misery by saying it's a sounds you can only get on a (insert overpriced hardware syth here)...

We've had MANY threads on this subject; many of us "newbies" are still trying to get it right.
For those who can afford it, a JP8080 is a standard in most Eurobeat label setups. However, that sound can also be attained by working with two sawtooth waves in most synthesizers and VSTi's.
A lot's changed in the decade and a half I've been here.

This lead sound is SawLead x SawLead.

I recommend "synth1"(free VSTi)
It imitates NordLead. Very good eurobeat sound!!! :D

I make "synth1" only demo.
Drums track is not synth1.

I think that Synth1 can make the better sound! :)

Absolutely - layers are the future! Just thinking about Burn My Heart, I had about 6 different synth layers to create just one melody line in the main riff/hook. :P
