Check Disc 1 of Best of 2009drnrg wrote:Looks like that video has snippets from a never released Niko Kickboxing?
Oh boys quit your bickering since I might have been the first to receive it . I only watched the DVD, didn't listen to the discs yet.Lebon14 wrote:At what time did you receive your "Your order has been shipped" from CDJapan? I love how in the booklet they have a spot for Niko, who also is the only "artist" to not have a pic, and then right under him is the real De Jorio XD On top of that their writing is different. lulz
The booklet is nice though. A nice change to have it all in color and how they got so many people to contribute to it. Looking forward to a new decade of SEB! It's been way too long of a dry spell.
And the first press sparkly cover is fail. D8
Although, it kinda seems the only difference is that one slants their words to the left, while the other slants to the rightDensetsu13 wrote:I love how in the booklet they have a spot for Niko, who also is the only "artist" to not have a pic, and then right under him is the real De Jorio XD On top of that their writing is different. lulz
Watched the DVD and listened to the CDs, but I was not too impressed.
Disc 1 mixing was ok, and there were a few good moments, but nothing I haven't heard before. The J-Euro CD had a lot of slow parts with bad music, especially in the ELT section.
The DVD caught me offguard because I thought there were supposed to be artist messages, but there were none. I was shocked that they didn't mention SEB141, the beginning of hrg and scp in main SEB, in the video, but they saved themselves by putting it in the booklet. Also, they didn't show anything from SEF DX in the DVD, unless I missed something.
In response to Alex's comments on PPS, I think the use of Night Of Fire from CS 2005 and Try Me from 150 was just solely for advertising different releases (dunno why no gazen or chozen though). I personally like Try Me from 170 the best. I also thought the DVD was a little too short for a SEB history. Only 33 minutes for twenty years, more or less, of eurobeat and parapara history, including about 10ish routines that are taken straight from the videos.
My biggest issue with SEB200 is that I thought it was supposed to be for the fans. Why put stuff on there that everyone already knows? I know that some might say that 7A is trying to get more new people in, or trying to make a "classic release," but to me, it just all seems like another SEB decade release after I listened to it. Nothing special. If it were for the fans, then why was there not a request countdown?

I dunno - we're at the beginning of January now? Labels must be used to completing their songs in under a month by this point, 'cause that's how long they've always had between each album!
My guess is Avex could be aiming for a new calendar for SEB releases:
January-November: 200-209
December: Best of 2010/200s, Xmas 2010

SCP recently emailed me saying Avex still hasn't informed them of their intentions. Strange to be honest. I would think that many of the labels already made songs during the "break" they were given. I would venture to guess that at the end of February another iTunes collection would be released as they come every three months. If I'm not mistaken isn't this the same timeframe they had for euromach?
Stop City Lover Can't You Break My Style?
Gorgia_V, I don't know anything about the lower speeds everybody is talking about. The new song I heard has even got more BPM than ''King Of The World'' by David Dima. So those rumours were false, there won't be a slower Eurobeat style (yet).
Avex has got enough unreleased material which was made last year; before or in the break to compile SEB201. Actually I can tell you that Avex already made a tracklist for the CD, all we're waiting for is it to be released.
