Very well said!Bore wrote:I like eurobeat.
So yeah, does anyone have this album (for real) yet?
This is 100% tru and the reason that all pop music sux nowadays. That is why the same song is being released over and over so the record labels can get back at the public. It's not just eurobeat that gets badly pirated. Kelly told me he found an article that claimed that 95 percent of all music is pirated. Eurobeat's sheer lack of accessibility only makes its situation even worse.
If money is really that tight then maybe peole shouldnt be buying eurobeat at all. I'm of the belief that if you can't afford then you don't deserve to hear the music regardless of how much you claim to love the genre.Lebon14 wrote:That copyright crap makes me sick.
You guys seem to forget about something : money. Even if the will is there, sometime you just can't buy anything because you don't have the money and have other priorities.
Even if the CD would have been available in my CD Store, I wouldn't be able to grab it 'coz I don't have the money. That is why pirating stuff is highly popular. We just can't afford every single album where we love a track or two. That is why we grab it from people that offers it illegally online...
However, even with that mindset, I still understand that we need to encourage the artists if we can though.
It's hard to save up when you live with your parent's money. The money I got for christmas paid the set of speakers I bought just before christmas and SEB 200.thejti wrote:See but that's not so much of an issue if you really look at your expenses and junk. You've had how many months to save up for this album? If you bought the tracks off musico (150 yen each, total about 20 bucks at most though I think there's a purchase CD option there not sure), didn't download them from that site because of the quality, torrented the album from Initial D, you'd be fine. People are expecting to get stuff for free on a premium genre music (defined as music not readily available in one's country) and it doesn't work that way.
I didn't say that people should stop buying music, you know. But in Eurobeat's case, if you buy every single albums because you like the genre, you gonna get ppor before knowing it.Javy wrote:If money is really that tight then maybe peole shouldnt be buying eurobeat at all. Piracy and copyright stuff is the same thing. Thank you for understanding.zoupsuop2 wrote:I don't see much mention of copyright anywhere in this thread...

Now that's not totally true. Sure there will always be someone sharing his exclusives, but it's been an overwhelmingly positive move for Newfield!DJ Mike TJG wrote:But even when Newfield offered to let people buy direct from HIM, I'm sure people still turned their noses up and ripped the music off anyway.
WHy should you get eurobeat for free? I want some filet mignon but I;m not gonna go steal it from the butcher because I think the price is too high but really want the fresh cuts as soon as their made. Theft is theft is theft is theft no matter how minor you think it is.ryosuke63 wrote:ROFL, OH MY GOD YOU DID NOT JUST SAY THAT.Javy wrote:If money is really that tight then maybe peole shouldnt be buying eurobeat at all.
