1. TELL ME WHY / RICH HARD
http://cnt01.labelgate.com/morawin/top/ ... 208-01.asx
Wow what a seemingly "non-existent" sample, If this wasn't the first song (sample), I would have thought that this song didn't exist! Hopefully the full song is not on the same league.
:???:

2. JUNGLE OF FIRE / LAURA VOX
http://cnt01.labelgate.com/morawin/top/ ... 208-02.asx
Great vocals! Interesting chorus too! Could overthrow Lucky Star in the full version.

3. INVISIBLE TOUCH / FASTWAY
http://cnt01.labelgate.com/morawin/top/ ... 208-03.asx
The star of the samples. Heard that youtube video and totally loved this track. Great chorus and vocals and that riff is absolutely wicked.

4. AWAKE / STEPHY
http://cnt01.labelgate.com/morawin/top/ ... 208-04.asx
Not gonna break any boundaries or what but sounds pretty decent. Stephy is as serious sounding as ever, That's good.
:)

5. QUEEN OF HEART / CORRADO
http://cnt01.labelgate.com/morawin/top/ ... 208-05.asx
Marko is here again but this doesn't leave any sort of impression.
:???:

6. CRAZY / DAVID DIMA
http://cnt01.labelgate.com/morawin/top/ ... 208-06.asx
Not this time Dima, I thought I heard a small part of Loved In Tokyo ...
:???:

7. THE MAGIC OF SUNSHINE / CIAO CIAO
http://cnt01.labelgate.com/morawin/top/ ... 208-07.asx
Hard to say I'm sorry version 2, Except that this one is really not as good.
:???:

8. PRETTY WOMAN / FRANCIS COOPER
http://cnt01.labelgate.com/morawin/top/ ... 208-08.asx
Hard to say I'm sorry Version 3 ? As usual, Inferior to HTSIS.
:???:

9. NEVER GONNA MAKE / RADIORAMA
http://cnt01.labelgate.com/morawin/top/ ... 208-09.asx
A vast improvement over You're always on my mind, Sounds really good.
:)

10. MEMORIES OF YOU / ORLANDO
http://cnt01.labelgate.com/morawin/top/ ... 208-10.asx
Bland ... Don't like the vocals too.
:???:

11. EYES OF SKY / VIVI
http://cnt01.labelgate.com/morawin/top/ ... 208-11.asx
Starry Sky riff ? At least that's what I heard. Sounds fairly decent.
:)

12. MIND GAMES / DREAM FIGHTERS
http://cnt01.labelgate.com/morawin/top/ ... 208-12.asx
The best sample out of the three dima entries but still, It isn't saying much, Again another mediocre sample. I only hope things change in full.
:???:

13. EZ DO DANCE <MORRIS CAPALDI VERSUS TRF REMIX> / TRF
http://cnt01.labelgate.com/morawin/top/ ... 208-13.asx
This J-Euro sample has a lot more appeal than half of the actual samples present on this CD and well ... This sounds great, Could be the best J-Euro so far.

14. MELODY <BALLADE MIX> / NAGISA
http://cnt01.labelgate.com/morawin/top/ ... 208-14.asx
Again, the bonus track sounds much better than most of the actual track before ... Love the lounge soundworld.

Top sample(s) : (Excluding the last two)
Invisible Touch - Fastway
Jungle Of Fire - Laura Vox

Is it just me or is the overall BPM on this CD very low ? I could have sworn that the CD is largely made up of slow songs. Anyways, Very underwhelming samples dominate right now. I hope the full versions give the songs more justice.
You and me like a fire tonight
Me and you 2 guardian angels
Now I feel your touch into my heart
A ray of sun~

- Guardian Angels / Oceania

These samples are so bad I might not even buy this album since I only really enjoy like 3 songs at the most. Terrible production = this album

Love & Sweets part 2 is what WNight should have written. I can see why labels like GGMs, Sinclaire and Eurogrooves are nowhere to be seen. Anyway I like the samples. kinda hard to give full impression when a clip doesn't even have a sneak peak at the riff, but I'll try. I'll put the clips in order of preferance as well.

12. MIND GAMES / DREAM FIGHTERS (David Dima)
YEAH!! This is Dream Fighters sound! Just when I thought nothing was gonna put me in that perfect Eurobeat zone, along comes this killer clip to ice the cake. This one sounds likes it might be my Eurobeat hit of the cd. Two smiles. One perfect Eurobeat zone and another cause I'm glad as fuck for a fast Dima sung . Thanks!
8) :D

7. THE MAGIC OF SUNSHINE / CIAO CIAO (HRG Attack)
I've been wanting to say this for the longest TIME, but it seems Claudio Accantino has taken the reigns at the LMS. You can cleary hear his inspiration from his older works at Saifam. If this was on vinyl I could mix it with Ciao Ciao- Don't Go Breaking My Heart. Not Eurobeat, but AWESOME song on a late 80's Italo/NRG level! Two smiles. One for the perfect ItaloNRG zone and another one cause I'm glad Hard To Say I'm Sorry wasn't a one trick pony.
8)

4. AWAKE / STEPHY (Dima Music)
This sounds like it's gonna contain a lot of epicness. Kinda like an Emotions part 2. She sounds great and the clearness of the sondworlds is gonna make me like the song even better. two smileys, cuz I sense this song to have great lyrics too.
 :D

2. JUNGLE OF FIRE / LAURA VOX (HRG Attack)
One of the few faster sounding clips this cd has to offer. I like this clip, she sounds phoenminal, but I fear it might be the least interesting of her singles. Still I gotta say HRG, are on a huge hit streak at the moment, I'm pretty sure this is gonna be one of the highlights of this cd for me.
 :D

8. PRETTY WOMAN / FRANCIS COOPER (HRG Attack)
Once again Claudio Accantino influence seems to be stronger than ever. Another clip that wouldn't sound out of place mixed with Asia favourites like Angelo Maria Morales-Pretty Woman Hoping for another 80s influenced riff to go along with the song. I like the backups singing Pretty Woman
 :)

3. INVISIBLE TOUCH / FASTWAY (SCP)
when I first saw this clip on Youtube, I had mixed emotions. The song sounded pretty reliable, but the dancers seems to be just kinda fooling around. Not really giving thier 100% on the dancing. Kinda like when you hear that old M.J. song and wanna start moonwalking. Anyway, that's the feel I got from that video clip as for the song;I'm liking this clip a lot. The chorus sounds really interesting. I know it's all gonna blow with their 4 min extended, but I still think it sounds way better than Rock Beating Wild. Maybe another "It's My Life" would have slotted better with these clips.

6. CRAZY / DAVID DIMA (Dima Music)
Aptly titled David Dima, since I compare this clip to those songs on Europanic under the name David. I think the full product will be interesting, since the melody in the chorus is not your typical Eurobeat. Dee Dee also sounds in top form.

9. NEVER GONNA MAKE / RADIORAMA (Saifam)
It's official. AVEX has taken us back to the 80s/90s sound of Eurobeat. This is a nice sounding clip with a very cool sounding riff, but I doubt it can surpass the awesomness of Always On My Mind. Still waiting fro the Superlove and Moltocarina comebacks.

10. MEMORIES OF YOU / ORLANDO (Saifam)
This clip has a frestyle melody and for some reason gives me Johnny O flashbacks...and that's a good thing. The vocalis sounds bored as hell . I'll give it one smiley for the melody alone, but remeber Red Bull gives you wings

11. EYES OF SKY / VIVI (SCP)
Not too bad. This could be Vivi's breakout hit for me. No silliness at all. i like those fast sounding pianos.
:)

5. QUEEN OF HEART / CORRADO (DELTA)
tis to be Capaldi? Had to hear this clip a few x to even get a grasp of the chorus. No sneak riff doesn't help it either. He is trying to mimic the Paul Harris sound, but it's not quite working out that way on this clip. I'll give it one smiley, cuz I do like his vocals.
:)

1. TELL ME WHY / RICH HARD (ABeatC)(SunFire)
Not Pirates part 2 that's for sure. The chorus sounds beyond boring. I might like it in it's entirety, but I need to say that the riff sounds so outta place, so I'm giving this clip a worried smiley.
:???:

13. EZ DO DANCE <MORRIS CAPALDI VERSUS TRF REMIX> / TRF
Helna sounded way better than this. The song does have a different feel, than TIME's version, but the vocals ruin it for me.
:(

14. MELODY <BALLADE MIX> / NAGISA
This a song you might find a Japanese pop music chart or an Animi series like Bleach. No thanks!
:P

I kinda actually enjoyed the magoraty of the clips. I'm a huge fan of the slower Italo sound as well as the fast Eurobeat, so I will proboblty enjoy this entry as much as I did Love & Sweets. The labels seem to comfortably fit thier slower songs on this compilation. Who would have thought HRG Attack to reinvent their sound this much. The only clips that seem to sound confused were the Rich Hard and Corrado ones, but the rest sound very promising.

Woop, woop - my cries yesterday were heard!! So let's see what we have on offer here...

1.TELL ME WHY / RICH HARD (Sun Fire)
Bit of an odd one. The bass and kick drum used still sound a bit weird - there's not much going on in the background of this one, so it sounds a little bit 1 dimensional. The synth used in the hook has an odd tone. Unsure of this one...
:???:

2.JUNGLE OF FIRE / LAURA VOX (Hi-NRG Attack)
Sexy, Wild & Crazy Sound is always going to be a massive act to follow for this alias, but this sample suggests she still has some magic up her sleeve. The epic feel of the chorus melody has a strong hook, and I like the overall production.

3.INVISIBLE TOUCH / FASTWAY (SCP)
Easily Fastway's best solo track in ages. Has just the right amount of energy and urgency, and I love the way he changes the pitch on the final notes in the chorus - it gives this a unique hook. Best sample so far...

4.AWAKE / STEPHY (Dima Music)
Was just okay the first time I heard it, but it's a real grower. Stephy's vocals sound as mature as ever (perhaps not as dynamic as a lot of other vocalists we have in the scene currently), but I like the strong emphasis on the guitar melodies.
:)

5.QUEEN OF HEART / CORRADO (Delta)
Love the melody in the chorus here - I can see myself singing along to this a lot in the car to and from work! Capaldi does what he does best, and this really reinforces my feelings from 207 that it's great to have Delta back!

6.CRAZY / DAVID DIMA (Dima Music)
Hmmm, my expectations were high for this one, and sadly the song didn't live up to them based on this sample. The bass pattern in the verse reminds me of Labyrinth of Love, but the chorus is like a b-side soft rock track from some random 80's band. No real craziness or excitement. Maybe the full version will be better...
:(

7.THE MAGIC OF SUNSHINE / CIAO CIAO (Hi-NRG Attack)
Sounds a little bit messy. All of the same production techniques as HTSIS with none of the melodic inspiration. It may grow on me, and I still love the galloping bassline.
:???:

8.PRETTY WOMAN / FRANCIS COOPER (Hi-NRG Attack)
A far superior melody to The Magic of Sunshine, and for that reason I enjoy this sample more. I'm hoping for good things from the full version.
:)

9.NEVER GONNA MAKE / RADIORAMA (Asia)
When I saw Asia/Saifam had redone this track, I really didn't see the need for it as the original Eurodance track was good enough. This speeds up proceedings and adds a fairly ordinary synth hook, but it's pleasant and brings back fond memories of DDR.
:)

10.MEMORIES OF YOU / ORLANDO (Asia)
Again, I loved the original of this, and you may remember that when In My Arms was released, I commented that the chorus melody made me think of a female version of this track. Not sure that this one really works in a Eurobeat context due to the chorus almost being like a verse that's repeated again and again, but again it brings back good memories.
:)

11.EYES OF SKY / VIVI (SCP)
Since "I Love My Dog", I've avoided this alias like the plague! However, other than a song title that makes little to no sense at all, this track sounds fairly okay. Good old-school sounding hook - SCP are really returning to their roots.
:)

12.MIND GAME / DREAM FIGHTERS (Dima Music)
Definitely the best Dima track - this one continues where Stardust finished with the old-school Vibration style. This is what I've been crying out for throughout the 200's, and I'm glad we're finally getting some more classic Dima style tracks.

13.EZ DO DANCE / TRF
Sounds decent - good production. The song is average.
:)

14.MELODY / NAGISA
Random j-pop ballad alert. I'll be missing this one out when I purchase the album from iTunes that's for sure!
:(

Roll on next Tuesday - can't wait already!!

Absolutely hideous samples. There's only three songs I'm looking forward to: 'Mind Game', 'Jungle of Fire' and possibly 'EZ Do Dance'. I can already tell this album is going to be the worst of the decade. That Rich Hard song sounds like a complete trainwreck, and it's the album opener!

7. THE MAGIC OF SUNSHINE / CIAO CIAO
http://cnt01.labelgate.com/morawin/top/ ... 208-07.asx
This doesn't belong to Eurobeat with a BPM LOWER than 130. *yarns*

http://cnt01.labelgate.com/morawin/top/ ... 208-08.asx
Same as above.

TELL ME WHY didn't impress me much... sorry Rich! I was hoping for a fuller production, and I can't really hear much from this one. It doesn't sound BAD, per se, just not particularly good.

JUNGLE OF FIRE had me doing a double-take. I could have mistaken this for SCP or Delta any day... I am wholeheartedly and truly impressed from what I hear. Way to go Hi-NRG Attack!

INVISIBLE TOUCH has Fastway going back to his roots and I couldn't have it any other way! The riff is almost Hyper-Techno-like (for me anyway), but it's good old Fastway in a solid production that I already think is gonna be good!

AWAKE displays Dima's persistent musical genius, though I can't say the clip shook me up too much. Stephy's good, Dima's consistent, but... I was kind of hoping for something to keep the "awesome" ride the last two had me on.

QUEEN OF HEART... wasn't this already a song title in Delta's repertoire? Definitely influenced by the slower BPMs of a few previous entries, though I think Newfield would probably have handled it juuuuuust a shave better. Not by much though. Props to Corrado for his debut.

CRAZY has a heavier feel for sure, but I don't know if the song style fits Dima... something seems off. Just like Rich Hard's entry; not bad, just not... GOOD good, y'know?

MAGIC OF SUNSHINE shows HRG's new inclination to slower BPMs... I like it, it's fun and poppy, but... is it Eurobeat? Now, mind you, I enjoy the occasional "non-Eurobeat-ish" tune on SEB these days (the unintentional ones, anyway, like Little Littler Star or It's All Up To You), but this one stretches the limit, I think. Well, further props to HRG for experimenting, keeping themselves fresh and on their toes.

PRETTY WOMAN is basically a more minor version of the above song featuring Francis Cooper. Again, not bad by any means, but... I miss HI-Nrg Attack; this is somewhat LO-Nrg, not something I mind as long as we get the HI to visit too...

NEVER GONNA MAKE has pop appeal with a Eurobeat structure for sure. I don't want to like it. But, darnit, SAIFAM has this thing with making me like songs I usually wouldn't (Shine by Mr. Max, anyone?), and this one had me caught when I heard the original version on Juno.

MEMORIES OF YOU: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA! ANOTHER one with this chord structure? I know it's a good chord structure but even I'VE heard it too much now... Please make something NEW soon, SAIFAM; I liked your newer stuff a bit more than the rehashes.

EYES OF SKY is definitely back to Vivi's older Trance-influenced style, and I like the preview. It's solid, it's light, it's enjoyable, and the riff sounded promising (what little of it I could catch). Yay Vivi!

MIND GAMES is definitely a recovery from the mediocre "CRAZY". It sounds like Dima's vocals aren't as accurate as they were in his earlier years, but that's my only complaint. Solid. Good. :3

EZ DO DANCE: TRF is really getting the remix love lately, aren't they? For some reason, Morris's style here reminds me WAY more of ABeatC than even Sun Fire has been doing lately... *sigh* I actually kind'a like it. Why so much hate for J-Euro these days, anyway?

Ohbytheway. I may be the only person who likes Healing Versions, and even I don't like MELODY's "Healing" mix. The crashing hi-hat isn't healing. It's grating. And her vocals are too straight in the mix (no reverb to soften it), so it does the opposite of heal, it strains and damages. Not a good track, but I DO like how J-Euro labels like Plum and whatnot are starting to gain footing in SEB. If it means more songs like this... well, I'll try my hardest.

I'm looking forward to JUNGLE OF FIRE, INVISIBLE TOUCH, PRETTY WOMAN, NEVER GONNA MAKE (DARN YOU SAIFAM!!!), EYES OF SKY, MIND GAMES, and EZ DO DANCE (Capaldi Mix). The others aren't bad, but I just can't see them holding my attention much further. We'll have to see when the album comes out, no~? And, Lebon, 209 should grant your wish if all goes well~
A lot's changed in the decade and a half I've been here.

Oh man. I don't like hardly any of these samples. Only feeling Fastway, Corrado, and Radiorama. I'd probably appreciate EZ Do Dance more if I wasn't sick of TRF remixes... but I am. :P Almost every song had me yawning.. the album really does feel.. slow. Highly unlikely I'll be buying this one (probably will buy those three songs, though).

I'm going to let the super amazing-ness of 207 carry me through to 209. :P

Not really too surprised with many of the comments. Like I said, I remeber Love & Sweets getting the shaft from most of you too.

Not really Eurobeat. It's ItaloNRG from mid 80s- early 90s.

Listen to Ciao Ciao- Don't Go Breaking My Heart or Forever In My Heart. Both from Asia when Accantino was on board. The only thing missing from the sound was Newfield on the mixxing. Accantino took the names Caio Ciao, Cindy and Chris with him to HRG Attack. Running Over The Night was Ciao Ciao's debut hit on HRG Attack and it was relaxed in bpms. I've been following Accantino prods since Boom Boom Dollars so it's great to hear the old skool sound making a comeback.

Sounds like a pretty good batch of samples, overall. I have pretty much the same thoughts about this album so far as the_ditz, except that I enjoyed The Magic of Sunshine a little more. It sounds like Hard To Say I'm Sorry, part 2 imo.

Melody <Ballade>'s appropriateness for this album is about as high as an ant cell. It's like Avex just decided to toss any random song from their catalogue, regardless of the genre, and put it on a Super Eurobeat album for probably little more reason than to draw in listeners who don't listen to the genre at all. At least other non-eurobeat songs were done by eurobeat labels, so they were kind of appropriate; this is just completely irrelevant.
