Hey, I remember that! SEB 170 was the first volume I really started to follow SEB on and for the matter of fact, my first post ever on _ _ _ was about the songs I voted for. :P

It seems like he totally blew up in the 210's, and I'd expect at least something from him, at least over all this repetition that proves how little Japan's (or maybe just Avex's) taste in eurobeat has hardly advanced over the past 15 years or so.
probably Legendary Heart from Hotblade and I Won't Fall Apart / Jager on it from 200-220 I'm guessing.

I remember voting for 'Bad World' by Ken Martin and it came in at #50 on Disc 1. I like to think my vote somehow made all the difference there, haha.

SEB170 and SEB190 are the only anniversary albums I've ever bothered to purchase (the latter only because I managed to get a really good deal).

I'm tempted to add, that if they are gonna add Super Eurobeat by Domino, Virgenelle and Mega NRG Man, why not include some of the better SEB anthems like Dave & Futura's and Eurogroove All Stars'. hell, Even Dee Dee's Super Eurobeat Lover is better than GGms version.

and If I had space for one song; it would have to be Chris Stanton- A Perfect Hero. 8)

The GGM Super Eurobeat anthem was probably the worst out of them all - too disjointed and "busy" for my liking, but I suppose that's what most eurobeat is all about these days. HRG's one was pretty bad too.

And I agree with you that De Leo definitely doesn't get enough recognition on these anniversary albums. I don't think any of his songs have actually appeared on an xx0 album before? It's a shame that he's so underrepresented since I've converted a lot of people to the genre thanks to him.

^ Bah. Who cares. It's just some more megamixes with full of repeats anyway.

ALSO.
Probably some of you missed the official Best Of 2011 but we almost all agreed that it was a waste of money for this year. So, I want to tell you guys that I, Lebon14, made a non-stop mix for this year with what I think are the best tracks of 2011 while using Beat-matching techniques (note : not a "live" mix; Eurobeat's just too hard for that). It includes tracks from Toho Eurobeat too. The tracklist is as follows...

01. Danger Zone / DJ Space'C
02. Dance Boom Boom / Tipsy & Tipsy
03. Final Breath (Mastering Edit) / Odyssey
04. It Is So / T.Stebbins
05. You Are In Love / Michelle Rose
06. Crazy Diamond / Joe D.Toaster
07. Let's Get It Done Tonight / Ken Laszlo Feat. Domino
08. Sunrise ~You'll Always Be Alive~ / David Dima
09. Rocketman / Mega NRG Man
10. Skylight / Dave Rodgers
11. Dance Dance Let It Go / Oceania
12. Brave Wings / Ani-Rock! Feat. Maou Devil
13. Wheelpower & Go / Dejo & Bon
14. Passport To Dance / Eurodudes
15. Because Of You / Jager
16. Maximisin' / Alix
17. Disconnected / Hotblade
18. Power Two / Hotblade
19. Legendary Heart / Hotblade
20. No Money No Honey / Cy-Ro
21. Mecha Fireball / Jeff Driller
22. Shakala Boom / Boris
23. Boom Boom Scream / Domino & Scream Team
24. Bye Bye Girl / Virginelle
25. Get It Done / Axel.K
26. Zenmei Koi Tokei (T.E.B Summer Mix) / Aki
27. A New Day / Digital Planet
28. The Top / Ken Blast
29. Don't Wanna Be A Survivor / David Dima
30. Up Dance Up & Go / Lou Master
31. Hello Kitty / Alix
32. Imitation XXX / Lily-An
33. Cowboy / Mr. Moog
34. Take My Life / Rich Hard
35. Crazy On Emotion / Ace
36. The Magic I Feel / April
37. I Dream Of You / Yo Shine
38. Men Becomes A Knight (Disko Warp Remix) / Ani-Rock! Feat. Sugano

Head over "you know where" to get it; or simply PM me. :)

cool what's the source for that? i can't find this list. Why is Koi No Maiahi technically listed twice?

Go Go's And The Monkeys is kind of surprising. There are a ton of other better Go Go Girls songs though to choose from imo like Hot For Your Body or Going Home.

At least that first CDs has more recent eurobeat than any other xx0 release ever.

This tracklist is more interesting than I expected, though the cover art is crappy.

For the J-EURO disc...
>パレオはエメラルド / SKE48
>月の裏側 / DiVA
This two songs are going to be the first AKB48-related songs to have "official" eurobeat remixes.

Baby Come Back has got to be the most surprising...actually anything from the last 1-3 years is surprising which there are more of as its been said.

The biggest surprise for me are the TIME and HRG Attack songs that show up(Dark In The Night excluded)

It's looking a lot more interesting now, but I still prefere something along the lines of SEB 197. King Of Eurobeat featured some great trix with Heartbreaker and Sledgehammeramong others.

I know they would never do it, but it would be great to relase a 4 disk mix twice a year. The first pack with the original big four. TIME mix on one disc, AbeatC on another ,DELTA on the third and an HRG Attack mix on the last cd.

The another pack featuring SCP, Sinclaire and Saifam or Dima or GGms. Whatever, but you know what I mean.

They would really have to feature a variety of songs from each label on each disc.

I would purchase a nonstop disc set like that one.
