@ 156 bpms I'm guessing they speeded up that Annalise track from it's original speed since it seems to an older song. :???:

So we are actually getting the "original version of "Wild Boys" on this disc. Very interested to hear that.
The Annalise track is from the 180s. It's not sped up... Why would they do that to begin with?! Also, for Wild Boys, just speed up the one on SEB221 (from 138.82 BPM) to 150BPM. It's exactly what's going to happen *shrug*.

The higher BPM version of Wild Boys seems like such a waste of space. And I can guess that there will be ABSOLUTELY NOTHING NEW added to this version. Bah! Avex should have used this space for a more worthwhile song.

The only reason this track is here is because people actually caught the mistake because of the bpm listing on the back of the CD case. If it wasn't there probably no one outside of avex would have found out and they wouldn't have to make an apology and add this bonus track.

listening to SEB 222 samples now on iTunes... 1:30 samples = awesome

songs i like:

last of eurobeat / mark farina
dance in the starlight / ace
boys do fall in love / lou master (surprised me A LOT)
bad joy / tora
sunlight / kaioh
gimme love / norma sheffield

the rest sucks or too similar to stuff i've heard before

The riff style for Boys Do Fall In Love sounds like Power of My Love / Yo Shine, CooLover era imo.

Oh my god, really? I adored those tracks, so I'm super-excited to hear that now!

Will be downloading this as soon as I get home from work :D

Thanks, Tiger.

Finally got to listen to the samples.

I like these:
Dance In The Starlight
Lovely
Sunlight
Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Tonight
Boys Do Fall In Love
Bad Joy

The rest are pretty bland. I really wish Dima would do something new in his own songs. Besides "Don't Wanna Cry For You" and "Help Me", his songs all sound the same and get muddled together.

The album sounds much better based on the samples than I initially presumed it would be. So many nifty sounding tracks yet again yay

I'm gonna hold off on the samples and wait till I have the CD instead. But based on the initial reaction I'm way hyped :D

The new Ace and Kaioh tracks sound super rad.

Irene's voice sounds really weird to me, I feel like they might have rung it through one too many effects, and Rich Hard still sounds too much like a drunk robot for my tastes, but just speeding it up makes me enjoy it a bit more.

Irene's voice is terribly vocoded - it really isn't pleasant at all. Wild Boys loses some of its charm for me at the normal speed as well - Rich Hard sounds too high, like he's straining in the bathroom (especially during the bridge and chorus), so I'll stick with the 221 version thanks.

The SEB 4U remix basically just has more reverb (meaning the vocals in the verses are more difficult to here), the extra guitar licks and the mirroring of the main synth hook and slightly beefier kick drums perhaps. A bit of a pointless "remix" - they still have all the DJ Boss nonsense sadly :(

As for all the new tracks, it's sounding pretty decent - "Dance In The Starlight" will probably be my fave, but "Reborn My Fire", "Sunlight", "Dance On The Top Of The Fire" and "Boys Do Fall In Love" also peaked my interest on the first play through. More later in the week when I've been able to let the full tracks sink in ;)
