Alphatown 2000 - Hero Samurai

I'm wondering whose are those backing female vocals in this track...sounds familiar to me

Cherry - Fairy Tale (Delta)
While I agree with some, that Clara has lost a little of that POWER in her vocal delivery; this still is one hell of a song.

Agreed 100%. I was expecting another catostrophe but I was so wrong. This is also, by far, the slowest song on the album and I love it.

My choice:

Kool Kitten by Franz Tornado (Hi-NRG Attack)

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude. That riff and that chorus! AMAZING!

Today I listened to Krystyna - Lonely Hearts (and to Linda Ross - Loving Honey as well). I think the backing vocals were great in that song. The backing vocals are not that great in current Delta songs. They sound loose instead of blending into the lead vocals (if you understand what I'm trying to say). Maybe that's why the vocals sound less powerful than before.

About Clara's backing vocals
I love her vocals in Marie Belle "Change" from 1993

Especially this part:

An excellent point about today's Eurobeat. Aside from HRG Attack and SCP, you don't hear much of the other labels doing the back up effect. It does take away some vocal power.

My song for today is from the good old TIME era. Elena Ferretti did some extra ordinary backup vocals for Clara on Gipsy & Queen songs and vice versa.

Going for
Gipsy & Queen - Black Bird TRD 1200
Flawless. Everything about the song screams of TIME's best productions of the 90's

Good tune. Takes some bit of getting used to, but good tune.

Mine?

I won't deny that I love this song and all the effects it brings.

This nearly made me spit my food out in laughter.

To me, 'Magic Sunday' is a complete travesty. I don't mind aishu but this song is so boring. Even Dave/Nuage sound bored. I haven't made it through one full listen yet without skipping to another song since I'm itching to hear one of the other better tunes on the album. Along with 'Wacky-Wacky-O!', it's easily among the worst of the decade.

My song of the day is 'Kool Kitten' by Franz Tornado. Finally we get a new and incredibly fun song from Rimonti; last time we heard from him was on SEB199, I believe. These are the kinds of songs that I've been missing from the label for so long.
