Hello,
I received a sealed, never unopened Super Eurobeat Vol.89, and on the back of the obi, it say : Compact Disc Digital Audio + CD Extra.
The CD Extra is the mini CD of the first press only ?
I'm asking this because the cd case size is the normal one like a regular edition.
I can't open it now, it's for christmas
Thanks

No. CD Extra just means that the CD has an extra data layer that can only be opened on PC (obviously). That track is on the main compilation, not the extra first press CD. Talking of which, these are mini CDs like the GameCube game discs. Here's a pic of my copy of SEB 76 that has its bonus first press disc:

The extra CD does not have an extra data layer. Only the first disc does.
Also, this data layer was meant for Windows 95 and Windows 98 and is a 16-bit software. You could technically still run it on a 32-bit windows but not on 64-bit. It was meant to connect through the internet and onto Avex', at the time, new network for goodies and stuff. Obviously, today, it's not required anymore.

Quick question. I noticed there a few A-BEAT C tracks that have been vinyl-only over the years. The one track I have never been able to find or get a hold of is Domino's "Take A Chance" which on A-BEAT C 1255 B2. Has anyone heard this song before?

It is rather poppy and slow. Most lyrics are in Japanese (except for the chorus). It is a little bit like Virginelle - Think Of You (not to be confused with Lolita - Think Of You).

True. Suspicious by Casanova is a such an utterly fantastic song. Real shame it didn't get put on SEB.

late reply, but:
At the end of March this year they re-released all the Euroenergy compilations over 5 total volumes with 9 tracks each. The tracklists were switched up a bit and there's a couple tracks that were on the old releases that aren't on the new ones a couple that are on the new releases that weren't on the old ones. I"m not sure about iTunes, but they're on Amazon, Juno, and Google Play.

That stuff is so bootleg. I don't know who's doing it and why they even changed the artist names. Some of those songs are like from the 90s.

The
SinclaireStyle catalog shows Roswell - My Way as being a thing; possibly among other songs that have no information on this site. Was it ever released?
There's quite a few tracks from that catalog that have never been released. Assuming that Avex rejected those songs.
