The countries where we come from

There's a wide world also outside of Eurobeat, this is where you discuss it.

The countries where we come from

Post by Kat » 29 Jul 2017, 12:36

Let's talk about the countries where we come from.I'm from northwestern Poland.
If I have to say something about polish people that we're Slavs and central europeans(western slavs)
I think that polish people are very variable and different from a person to a person.
Some are very talkative some are closed and not so much sociable
I'm..well..I'm not so talkative as a person but I love Eurobeat and I'm full of energy
I love the polish cuisine and also the nature that we have : baltic coast , forests and mountains in the south
Here where I live the summers are colder and rainy while in south it can be hotter.I think that part of Poland where I live can be considered as northern europe.
OK.I love talking and I'm very talkative but I love talking straight to a person and I just love english :D

I'm from Oregon (Close to Washington), the west coast of America. It frequently rains here, at least when it's fall and winter (And some spring days). I don't mind the rain, unless there's a flood (Though usually, the floods are relatively small).

Today we have 27 °C / 80.6 F and it's summer here.2 days ago we had 18°C / 64.4 F and a week ago we had a huge thunder and very cold winds from northern europe...just 13° C at day / 55.4 F
It can be as hot as 35 °C / 95 F in summer but not always

I'm from the US of A, New York. We call it the Empire State. Some nameless wag called us that and then disappeared after that grand gesture.

We have a terrible reputation abroad, but I assure you not all of us are like the Ugly American stereotype. Some of us are very nice and enjoy being a part of the world around us.

A great deal of us are terrible, though. It's quite the problem.

Finland's been great this summer. We haven't had about any actual days of heat. Hot summers are not meant for this far up north so I'm a-okay with this situation. I'm still somewhat surprised at the amount of Finns who seem to dig eurobeat. In a way it's logical, but also odd how these finns managed to find out about eurobeat in the first place. Eurodance had a huge impact in here during the 90s so eurobeat flows in with that scene rather well.

I'm from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Today it's 19º C, clear skies. Wednesday will be a hotter day, 35º C. Forecast said that this friday will start to rain, and will be 24º C.

Usually, winter in Brazil it's dry. It's raining more than the last year.

I'm from Chattanooga, Tennessee (USA)
Well, we're Southern here, so you can expect to hear "y'all" a lot. Right now, it's down in the 40's Fahrenheit. It should be a bit colder with it being nearly December. We are also referred to as "Gig City" because we boast having the fastest internet around...if you can afford it. For a Southern area, it's pretty open minded, so that works for me. There are a lot of different Christian faiths here, as well as Muslim and others embedded throughout the area. We don't have a rave scene though, which makes me pretty sad.
