Random Eurobeat Thoughts

Post by para_rigby » 08 Jan 2018, 23:36

Sometimes we want to talk about things, but don't fit a long-term thread...so I have this thread for your most random eurobeat thoughts. Use it.

My thought of the day: De Jorio's old-school tracks are totally kick ass. I've been playing "Suspicious" by Casanova and "T.N.T." by Derreck Simons on repeat. Those are two of my favorites right now of his.

"Today's Tune" thread never been a thread for me. I listen to eurobeat daily but I rarely put a song on repeat to make it my "Today's Tune". So, yeah.

I doesn’t have to be a today’s tune, but anything that’s been on your mind that’s related to eurobeat...

How many of you care about lyrics in eurobeat songs? I mean in terms like learning them by heart, singing along etc.
Mostly they make no sense whatsoever but they sound just funny :D

I just like them way more than I like them in any other genre because they are just written for the sake of having fun and not to have deep messages like most songs on the radio nowadays.

A perfect example would be Easy Busy by Kiki & Kika. Absolute nonsense but damn they are cathchy... easy busy lemon squeeezy

-On today's tune thread, I tend to post what have just found; usually there are songs that I've never heard before and it's the first time I listen to them and I instantly like them.

-How would have Clara Moroni sounded singing Hi-NRG Attack songs? Would you imagine her voice singing Kangaroo in Timbuktu? hahahaha

-I never had thought before how to dance to old Eurobeat until I watched some lip-sync battles from RPDR.

I like the idea of artists doing work for other labels. Like having Domino sing for Delta with Roberto producing.

I've always wondered what a Bazooka Girl and Lolita duet would sound like. Maybe separate on the verses, but together on the chorus.

Eurobeat communities are sh*tty and toxic as f*ck. Made my mental illnesses worse. Great.

People take themselves too seriously on the internet - especially about music ..
Dear Roger. Eurobeat communities are independent, free artists with their free decisions and not only american fans who came as the last, but being since the beginning lovers from Japan, Mexico, Europe. If you forgot this, you might be lost in selfishness.

Actively from 3 years I spent days, nights to cherish and celebrate the Eurobeat legacy, searching and sharing stuff across these communities on dedicated Facebook sites.

And I found thankful friends, for who the center are artists and exactly musical, material legacy, not mutual appreciation society. I made happy even much older fans than me, I surprised positively artists that pretty young man from Poland could've restored in a short time their whole career moments, and introduce it once again. That's my time for others.

Neither frustrated fan, ParaPara dancer, brainwashed by commercialism and japanese modern culture kid, who cares exclusively of today and not existing future, who is blind how Eurobeat is huge so far and unrevealed yet, who feels rejected because nobody wants to make his dreams come true - will not call my work, passion oriented also on others, self-centered.

Term of a fan is indeed wider, but I'm not going to adjust myself to idle attitudes, to grumblers who haven't tried to meet me and find my pages, who all 3 years of my perfectly known public activity shown me middle finger, never been interested... enjoing memes instead. If you've never tried to help artists promote the songs you're still fan, but you should also know a place in the current reality and reconcile with inevitable events.

I will not lie, make fake hype of quite unknown part of Eurobeat, what judged Japanese not the western market, just because I destroy the imaginations.

Already existing Eurobeat is enough treasure and more precious than unpredictabe future, respect it or keep toxic your mind with anger on all around.
