Forgot about this one. Actually my second favourit to "Emotions"
Yep, it's definitely one of her very best tracks - sadly under appreciated.
I absolutely
adore Heart's On Fire! It's such a far-reaching, sharply-driven piece that just showcases an amazing vocalist at her best.
My song for the day:
Superman / Mark Farina - It's hard and sad to believe that the label that's now reduced to producing nothing but generic covers was once the hotbed of originality in the eurobeat world. Saifam's historical record is so positive for me, and this track is a perfect representation of that. It has that same bounce that makes the label's songs so catchy and everlasting, yet it expands beyond even the high-set boundaries they set. The synth is unmistakably authentic, yet so unique at the same time. Unlike the other two superhero-themed songs in the Asia catalogue (Spiderman / Mark Foster and Batman / Coo Coo), Superman takes a much more serious direction, delivering just the solid results you would expect from a track about such a significant figure, if not even more.

You don't like 'Spiderman'!?
My track of today is 'Hello Hello!' by Delta Queens. Head and shoulders above that atrocity on SEB215.

Les Blue Belles - Knock Knock Knock
This song has Gino Caria's influence all over it, the song could have easily been on Vibration Records as well. The vinyl wasn't available in the store unfortunately, but I'm lucky to have it on Eurobeat Flash.

Not only Hearts On Fire, but the whole Akyr project was underappreciated in my eyes.
These last couple of days, I 've been listening to Akyr hits.
Friday was.
David Kane- Speed King (Akyr)
I swear this melody riff is old school Italo on speed. Almost like Shooting Star- Roy speeded up or something along those lines. I am a huge fan of the spacey Italo sound.
Tonight I've been repeating
Maximum Power- Go Rocky Joe (Akyr)
Damn! Claudio sounds amazing, no matter what label he is on.

Actually, I friggin love Spiderman, it's just that it's stylistically very different than Superman. It's much cheesier and speedier, and it even has pitched-up (male!) vocals, though not as pitched as Batman or other Coo Coo songs.
