If you have quality headphones or speakers like I do, then you can clearly tell the difference between 128 kbps and 192 kbps and 320 kbps.

I am happy to own the extendeds considering the circumstances, but I was just stating the fact that the quality of the extendeds are much poorer than you presumed. Nothing more or less.

You do a little, but I've had worse sounding vinyls. I also do a lot of remixing on Audacity which right away brings down the kbps to 128, so yeah, beggers can't be choosers.

I do have quality speakers, but I perfer the volume set on high anyway, so they pretty much all sound good as long as I have the tunes. :P

I'm pretty sure that you can save in WAV format so you can convert to a higer bitrate MP3 later...
