Lookin for some people for a remix album.

Post by showbiznine » 10 Mar 2009, 11:13

Basically, the only rule is, the song you remix has to be from an anime. Any genre is welcom as long as it sounds good.

This idea just came to mind after I finished a remix of an anime track [http://forum.eurobeat-prime.com/viewtopic.php?t=2093], I thought "wouldn't it be cool to take it a little further than just a few tracks here and there, but make an album instead?"

I thought it would also be cool to have other people on there to mix up the styles a little. It wont be anything too serious, just a little fun... it will be released as a free download when its finished, I might even make a few physical copies if people are interested.

if you're interested in being a part of it or have any questions, my e-mail is in my profile on here. Send me an e-mail, add me on MSN etc...

I could probably do a song. How easily obtainable are acapellas for anime songs?

Seems like the Anime Boom is not contained to Japan :P. Have you heard of Super Anime Remix, a series that is all Anime themes remixed in Eurobeat? It's done by the label Akiba Koubou.

For samples I think amazon.co.jp has them. Best of luck with the producing =)

Kind of on the older side, relatively speaking, but there's also Parapara Max. (i think that's the series name...?) Dancemania Speed also did an anime album, I think.

I would be willing to do a track or two. Just get some more people together and we can have a mini album at least.

I'd be up for it if I could get some acapellas!
You better watch yourself!

You better keep it cool!

i got one other guy interested atm, he made one track and says he has another on the way. ive got 5 tracks done already and im aiming for around 12 on the album so its about 1/2 way done.

@MesdoramElmdor: If you need some acapellas, ill try and get them for you. They'll most likely be D.I.Y.s though if thats okay with you.

3 tracks left! The plan from the start was for me to do about half of the tracks and other people do the rest. There are gonna be 12 tracks and I've done my 6. So the 3 that are left are reserved for whoever wants them.

2 to go. And I have one more track that could go on there and one guy working on another one.

I'm still taking submissions because some of my earlier tracks aren't as good as the newer ones and improving them would mean pretty much starting over.

So yeah, send me what you got. ;)
