Super Eurobeat Volume 155

Post by Jion » 14 Dec 2004, 04:33

Feburary 23 is the date currently set for Super Eurobeat 155. So far no news on the tracklisting but here's hoping for Ace's song, Crazy Sexy Baby, and something new from Davide Di Marcantonio (Jimmy Bravo, Electric Rock Band) and the Vibration crew!

Yeah, the latter new track list I posted was supposed to be somewhat more... secure than the old one.

1.Kevin Johnson - Don't Say Goodbye
2.D-Team - Speed Car
3.Digital Planet - Call Me Tonight
4.Cherry - Euroheat
5.Clubhouse Feat. Carl - Light My Fire
6.Lolita - Beautiful Day
7.Go Go Girls - Baby Boy
8.Tam Arrow - Rambo Demolition
9.Lolita - Hot & Crazy Love
10.Pretty Woman - Sweet Heart
11.Priscilla - The Beat Goes On
12.Bad Gang - Body Guard
13.Leila - When I Look At You
14.Virginelle - Love Is...
15.Pamsy - Hello
16.Nuage Feat. Sonia - I'm Never Gonna Let You Down And Forget You
17.Big Town Guy - John 'N' Mary Dance
18.Fastway - 777

Okay
The tracklist looks quite.. err.. confusing. I bet that Clubhouse Feat. Carl - Light My Fire is not eurobeat at all, like in 154 (Queen 26) and 153 (Stephy) there were one not eurobeat song, maybe Light My Fire is a cover of an old Doors song.
But 777 and Beautiful Day.. hmm.. could they be remakes? but Beautiful Day is pretty new song it was released on SEB 134 (2003) and 777 was released on Euromach 11 (2001), or is Avex running out of tracks :)
I'm waiting for to hear Body Guard, Call Me Tonight and Baby Boy :)
Cybersex is on the line, I'm still running in the nineties

I am sure they are at Avex has something wrong... They sick!
777 and Beautiful day? I have them for years! Why don't they choose from HRG list? There are lot of songs what knowbody knows!
I'm really dissapointed! If they continue this bullshit I'll stop buying SEB!!! :x

Clubhouse feat. Carl is a release orginally made by Media Records.
And maybe it's nice to mention that during an interview on 'Iventi Radio', Andrea Leonardi spook about two sections of Delta Records. One section is responciable of the agressive, fast speed Eurobeat. And the second section is the 'soft' side. Like for instance Queen 26.
It's ofcourse strange to see 'old productions' on this tracklist. But we'll see what the final release will bring.
Personally I think it's a good thing to put some new style like Queen 26 into the SuperEurobeat serie. Slower BPM and something completly new. I understand when you're a fast BPM Eurobeat fan you're not gonna like this new move. But in a time that CD sales are dropping down it's perhaps smart to open new skies. See the reations of the public. It's all what the 'market' wants. And sorry for us, the market is a Japanese one. A country with his own culture. That's perhaps why we all sometimes do not understand AVEX. For us fans in Europe, U.S. or wherever ... we just look closely what AVEX is doing and hope that they doing the right thing !!

Adios,

Ronald.

I'm totally confused by Avex putting old songs on SEB if they have so many new songs and access to unreleased songs from the labels... I heard that there were quite a few songs from Doctor Stranger (Fastway/Dusty) and Nick Mansell that haven't been released. And I know I've talked about it for a while but Crazy Sexy Baby too hasn't been released. Plus Power Of Sound... I just think Avex is dropping the ball quite a bit here... Maybe they are misprints and its an error or maybe they are remixes. I just am totally dumfounded by the whole thing.
