i've seen people do some pretty amazing things with the 3xosc in FL, but if that doesn't cut it, there's always synth1. just have a look on kvraudio.com for free synth vsts and see which ones you like.

Let's all hope Hip Hop(rap is allready dead) is next.

What's wrong with people listning to rap? That statement is pretty much what the peopel who call eurobeat weird are saying; that people can only enjoy certain types of music.

3 tracks left! The plan from the start was for me to do about half of the tracks and other people do the rest. There are gonna be 12 tracks and I've done my 6. So the 3 that are left are reserved for whoever wants them.

I've been trying for months to get the lead sound from the sample below, but no matter ho hard I try or what VST I use, I just can't get it.

Is it some kind of well kept eurobeat secret? Cuz no one else seems to know it either.

About the (exessive) bass: that's down to youtube so try and imagine it EQ'd properly. I'll upload a HQ version when it's finished.

Yeah, fl is probably a good starting point, but i suggest getting used to a track based DAW such as REAPER eventualy. If you're new to synths I recomment ReFX Nexus as a VST instrument but Tone2 Gladiator 2 is my personal favourite. Nexus has some nice sounds, but you can only use presets, you can't ...

I'm not sure about how to make the synth sound, sounds like a few modified saw to me tho. But the shuddering effect was probably made with a gater and a bit of modulation on the dry/wet levels, there are free vsts that can do this such as stormgate1.
