I mean, it is true that eurobeat really isn't profitable enough for producers to live off alone. I wouldn't go quite as far as to say that they hardly care about their fans and only care about making money, though. If that were the case, then they would hang up immediately and look for jobs in the l...

I'll admit it's still a very good song, even with a chorus straight from Adam Lambert's hit. Heck, the song I just had for Today's Tune yesterday also derived its chorus from another song. I guess the particularly disappointing thing for me, in this context, is that Jager seemed like one of the most...

Oh dear, I just found out tonight that Because of You is nothing more than another Adam Lambert ripoff, just like What D'you Want From Me. only this time with If I Had You. Aside from I Won't Fall Apart, I guess Jager isn't really the innovative juggernaut that I thought he was. Shame. :( (Pardon me...

My Woman Is Dangerous / Big Band My gosh, this song is just the most addicting thing. The chorus rips off Deep Purple's Woman From Tokyo, but the whole production works so well, thanks to the sharp synth, tight vocal melody, and Nando's wonderful delivery. It's got as much drive to it as your typic...

Cherry Blossoms (2010 Mix) / Odyssey Possibly my favorite original song by Travis. It has such a unique melody and vocal progression that kind of manage to be both relaxing and aggressive simultaneously. The rock-orchestra intro is quite brilliant, and the background synths during the verses are sp...

don't make SEB into non-stop mixes...since masses of international people clearly preffer full radio or extended tracks... Indeed. I only like non-stop mixes when there are no new tracks. +1. This is why it was such a big deal when HRG, Vibration, and Avex released the full versions of their Euroma...

Ho boy, morawin. Unfortunately, that site only accepts Japanese credit cards. They used to have all the Super Eurobeat albums on mu-mo.net, which was not protected from foreigners, but then they switched it to this three years ago, and it hasn't been fun.

You could maybe try going for a more exotic sound by incorporating a few world instruments. I can imagine a eurobeat song that uses bongos or a Japanese koto sounding pretty cool. A few atmospheric effects might add even more of an authentic, realistic touch. I love the intro in Merry Christmas by F...

Did you know that Gino Caria was actually the first to sing under Sandy Bee title on one of TIME's first 1' vinyls ever.
That track's sung by Nando Bonini though, right?

Back Into The 80's / Lilly Call those distorting vocal effects ugly as much as you want, but I'm already really addicted to this song. It's such a deep step out of typical HRG or even the eurobeat genre for that matter. It's like a casserole of modern electronica, 80's synth rock, and a small touch...

What's really funny is that even though the vocals in the Meoow Mix of Ike Ike 2009 sound like an extremely pitched up Elisabetta Gagliardi (I guess they were taken from the Bazooka Girl version on the Bazooka Girl & Friends compilation), I still way prefer them over the ones from the horrendous...

It's just being lazy! Besides, most of these covers are frankly a lot blander than their original counterparts, so there's pretty much no reason for me to listen to them in the first place. Case in point - the Danger Zone cover from SEB 212. While it isn't really bad per se, it just doesn't have any...

Probably not, the resutls were sent to Nanae in July while Take This Way was released in May. The point is really just that Eurogrooves never made any original songs from after Take This Way all the way through the 210's. Avex probably would've encouraged them to do so had they gotten better recept...

Hey, don't those "availability" results say anything? I guess they did expand upon the really positive consensus for SCP. It probably encouraged them not only to release the label's new songs on iTunes, but also to get the label to make Samurai Blue and the Hotblade songs from the 210's, a...
