It sounds like a great idea!!
The irony is that I think more people are familiar with Indie Eurobeat, and it would only help the community around this genre much more

How do you understand pumping? Isn't the offbeat pumping the key element of the Eurobeat rhythm? Well, yes. I mean, when you said side-chaining, I thought you meant pumping in the sense of putting an LFO on a bass and getting THAT kind of pumping. The sort you will hear in Happy Hardcore or can tur...

Personally, while I do have a lot of samples ready for Eurobeat stuff, a lot of it comes from 90's video-games and media. It really all depends on how you envision the genre and what interests you. Don't be afraid to think outside the box ^^. To me, when I think of this genre, I think of a theme son...

The bass isn't too loud, quite the opposite, but I would recommend to use some side-chain compressing with the bass drum to get more of the pumping effect you need for Eurobeat. I personally disagree! I think I may have heard a few songs that have a pumping bass, but that's usually something for Ha...

To answer your question about pads, yes! string pads are usually the right way to go with Eurobeat. You don't have to have them playing all the time; you can have them very quiet on certain portions, or just use the Arps and other things to help create a sense of movement until you bring them back i...

Odyssey Eurobeat - Diamond Dog! (OVERground Remix)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWb2g53G6wY First track of the month! C: This one came totally out of nowhere, because I wasn't thinking of doing it haha! I was in the middle of working o a Chiptune song (which I'm still doing!), when I was watching the amazing stream of all the performers of Runnin...

Not bad! for your first track, there are a lot of things right in this one, including the stereo-widened brasses! ^-^. You're definitely off to a great start! The brasses and overall master track is a tad too loud, so be careful with your levels. Reference with another professional track to make sur...

I was thinking about non-English and non-Japanese Eurobeat (I'm sorry i should have written it like this in the first place  ). I know these two languages are most commonly used in Eurobeat (I love Touhou Eurobeat series <3 ), but i was thinking about how Eurobeat can sound for example - in F...

I'm not sure what you mean by Eurobeat doesn't have any theory haha. Eurobeat is another flavor of EDM, and music, like any other. Of course it uses music theory haha :P. It has it's own conventions like other styles (lead synth brass, digital FM bass, big ol' 90's drums, arps/seqs, the electric gui...

Hiya~! C: I listened to it and it sounds unique! all those retro computer sounds give it a sort of IDM twist that I don't think I've heard before! I'm sorry if I'm wrong, but it feels like your confusion comes from still needing to understand more about Eurobeat works. You can give the track an IDM ...
