Re: How did you get into Eurobeat?
Been listening to european dance music since probably as early as 1991, grew up with it all my life, from euro house, happy hardcore, trance, makina, italo, hard house, bounce, hard bass, you name it. First time I ever heard eurobeat was in old YTMND memes, never really took notice of it until ...

VIRTUAL LOVE / KEN MARTIN
This has been on repeat for days, such a perfect representation of 1995 euro dance music, almost fits the italo dance genre as much as does italo disco. Love it, absolutely love it.

Been listening to this CD a lot more often lately, very enjoyable.
Crazy Disco In Tokyo is becoming one of my favourites.

Re: Mixing and recording mistakes in released tracks
I don't necessarily think it's always mixed like that on purpose by design, more a product of the recording and the best they could do. Take Nack 5 for example, Domino's vocals have so much high frequency it's almost piercing and that's after being mixed and mastered. In that case you'd have to ...

Re: Eurobeat Random Question Thread
Is there a place where I can find all the analog covers for the SEB series? Sometimes on google I find analog and other times digital, it's really random on which cover you find. I'd prefer analog covers for my digital backups as the digital ones still look kinda ugly, I would have thought someone ...

Re: Today's Tune
So much going on in this tune, I had so much fun listening to this track, Let's Party is absolutely the right name for 192. Best one on the CD by far.

Re: Mixing and recording mistakes in released tracks
I think one of the biggest errors against Eurobeat music is the poor audio mastering, especially 90s eurobeat. Tracks can have lack of bass, lack of a prominent drum, lack of crisp sound clarity, vocals aren't loud enough and sound sunken into the back of the track. One track can sound crystal ...

What CD that you didn't really like do you keep returning to?
So as my collection grows I've found my self sometimes returning to CDs that I didn't necessarily like. I don't know why, you get some CDs that have absolute killer tracks on them, then others that you could perhaps say were just mediocre overall. But for me out of all the ones I own SEB224 is ...

Aladdin - Body Of Evidence (Italy, 1995)

This to me is one of the finest examples of italodance from the 90's. A fast and hypnotic vocal track with a repetitive yet mesmerising melody that just doesn't let you stop.

Super Eurobeat models and photography
So the biggest talking point about SEB and eurobeat in general is the music, but I was wondering, what about the models that posed for the album art? There's 30 years worth of photography that has also went into it, has it ever been documented who the models were? Bit of an odd question but I was ...

You Are In Love / Michelle Rose - SEB 214
One of my favourite songs on this CD. I'm always a fan of heavily vocal based tracks and this is no exception, combined with the wonderful piano melody I always love returning to this album for this song.
