Haha, I managed to register and purchase Velfarre 2000 with Mu-Mo - just downloading it at the moment ;-) From the apperance, I'd say it's still 128kbps WMA though, sadly! Here's hoping they switch to lossless WAV or similar at some point real soon! :-) EDIT: Has anyone noticed the "HD" symbol at th...

Well like I said several posts ago, the only time the Barbie name has ever cropped up was Euromach 5 and that was with Vibration - which seems pretty unlikely ;-)

I would say at least one of those could be A-Beat C, but I'm not sure to be honest.

HO-LY SHIIIIIT!!! XD

Edit: Also.. The only time the name "Barbie" has appeared is on a Vibration song all the way back on Euromach 5. Somehow I expect this is a different label, but you never know ;-)

Dang :( Sounds like it'll still be Japan-exclusive. And here I am desparate for extended releases of some real classics.

Wonder if I'll be able to fumble my way through the site enough to download them ;)

Sounds pretty good! But usually the ones on Eurobeat megamix segues last much longer and have a lot more air in them - kind of trance-like.

Sorry, I guess I should have posted examples ;-) I'm really not sure how to best describe it. It's basically all those effects you hear at the start and end of a lot of megamixes, and in between megamix tracks - air noises which rise and fall in tone quite quickly - sort of a retro disco effect I gu...

So how about all those whoosing/windy sound effects? ;) I love the idea of using them to break in tracks during megamixes, but at best I can find one or two, but there has to be a decent way of generating them!

One thing I've noticed on this SEB and also the Initial D Fourth Stage Selection 3 that was just released: There are two or three instances of poor editing in the songs. I guess they aren't so noticeable when played through loud speakers, but listening on headphones as I often do I picked up on nast...

Dr. Love / Eurobeat
Franz Tornado / Ganguro
O-Zone / Dragostea Din Tei (Eurobeat Remix)

Oh man, I just received SEB 171 today, and I love it! :D I'm especially loving the Hi-NRG tracks on this one - after all the disappointments in the 160s, they've finally put two songs on this one which feel like a good return towards the glory days of the Euromach era (which, for me, is where many f...

I think we're better off conducting these sorts of polls in-forum, and linking to them from the main site. Seems like this "Best of Beats" thing falls over more and more with each tournament.
