Re: DJ Boss considers recording Japanese Eurobeat

Bratt Sinclaire did a livestream on FB last night where he was meeting with Avex SEB staff in a Milan restaurant - including DJ Boss. Was brief but interesting. :)

Re: SCP's Eurobeat Kudos Series

I did mean Euromach releases. A-Beat C seem to be the same around then. Quite a few "extended" Euromach tracks I've managed to get by them seems to be no longer than a radio edit... I wonder if that was partly influenced by both SCP (then Double) and A-Beat C choosing to put out vinyls wit...

Most of SCP's stuff in the Euromach doesn't go above 5 mins. Mikado is the only track to even hit 6 minutes.

Re: The Almost-Complete Euromach Extended - a.k.a. So Close and yet So Far!

I wrote to Giancarlo Pasquini on FB to see if he was able to sell his music... alas he doesn't own the rights to anything A-Beat C. I guess the rights must purely be with Avex at this point? I know they and TIME had a much tighter contract with Avex than SCP, HiNRG, Saifam etc. do/did. Shame if so -...

Re: The Almost-Complete Euromach Extended - a.k.a. So Close and yet So Far!

Discovered I randomly have Ace Warrior / Black Roses on vinyl... now I just need £1,000 of equipment to make a half decent rip of it Lebon14. ;-)

Re: SCP's Eurobeat Kudos Series

EBK 17 now appears to be up on iTunes, Amazon, 7digital, etc

Also for those who prefer lossless, the EBK albums are ever so slightly cheaper on 7digital in lossless than anywhere else - at least here in the UK: £11.99 rather than £12.49 on Juno/Beatport.

Re: The Almost-Complete Euromach Extended - a.k.a. So Close and yet So Far!

At the time when most A-Beat-C, Delta and Double (pre-SCP) vinyls were made, I would bet that most producers were still on analog or early digital transition. I would say that maybe they changed into digital mid-2000s. Not counting them because of the format and the entry level is totally acceptabl...

Re: The Almost-Complete Euromach Extended - a.k.a. So Close and yet So Far!

Some of those are released online or vinyl already like Zorro Zorro and Slave To The Rhythm. You should check again. I don't count vinyl. Dire quality, and especially awful when you consider the source material is pure digital. I'd take the megamix edits on CD over that. If they're available to buy...

The Almost-Complete Euromach Extended - a.k.a. So Close and yet So Far!

I've gotten back into my old Eurobeat collection in a big way lately... which has also spurred me onto filling in the gaps in the Euromach Extended collection I was trying to build but which only ever really got to gathering up most of Vibration and some Saifam + Hi NRG. It's amazing just how much h...

Kika - Party Girl (Extended ver.) Christine - Heartbeat (Extended ver.) Susan Key - Love Train (Extended ver.) Mr. M - Love Gun (Extended ver.) Kika - In Your Eyes (Extended Mix) Where'd you get tracks like this? I can see TIME put Love Train up on Youtube for example, but I can't see it to purchas...

Re: SCP's Eurobeat Kudos Series Vol.9+ Unreleased & Extendeds Discussion

"Easy Come & Easy Go" originally appeared on SEB 198 in megamix only.
Almost all the rest are 170s/180s era stuff, so they're at least getting their full extendeds for the first time - but yeah, there's nothing new as such.

Re: SCP's Eurobeat Kudos Series Vol.9+ Unreleased & Extendeds Discussion

I wonder if the fades in these tracks are there because they knew Avex didn't plan to use them in full, and so didn't worry about ending the song?

Similarly might be the reason Solid Gold simply stops rather than ending properly.

Re: SCP's Eurobeat Kudos Series Vol.9+ Unreleased & Extendeds Discussion

Re: The road to Super Eurobeat 250....

Can't say I'm surprised by this news - that Eurobeat as a genre lasted as long as it did in Japan was an amazing feat, but all things fade eventually. I'll be forever grateful for having this super-energised genre be part of my life. And goodness knows there's an absolute ton of back catalogue to en...
