You're right, it seems very promising indeed. There, now it's scheduled for purchase :D It's great to know the production values are picking up again. Now we'd just need the next boom... Fortunately though, in other countries, fashions don't pass in and out all that fast.

I hope you have seen the latest Chouzen Para DVD. You mean this one? http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51LJevN-v%2BL._SL500_AA240_.jpg I've been eyeing it but so far left it there because our circle leaders have forewarned us against anything with the word "chozen" on it (except for G...

Considering I can not share this media and knowing most people don't have access to it I, and the others in Disco NRG, try our best to do re-films so paralists around the world can at least keep up with what's going on in Japan. Sounds fair. It's very nice of you to go through the trouble for the r...

Among the 2000+ eurobeat tracks I've graded so far, there's only one I've deemed worth only one star: Time Force - C'mon Move On Up :ew: It truly hurts. I used to have another one as well (Margaret - 1-4-U Babe) but I promoted it to two stars some time ago.

Just because there aren't many others doesn't mean you can't dance for fun yourself! That's what I've been doing for years, believe me when I say there's barely any paralists here as well. You're definitely right. That's what I've been doing, too. And overall, it's not that bad here. We do have a c...

It's always a pleasure to see skillful dancing :D Neither does it hurt that you're clearly enjoying yourself. I think I've previously watched some of your videos somewhere... Way too few guys are into europara anyway, or at least that I haven't come across many. In my country (Finland), most men pre...

Re: Evolution of Eurobeat:: Part 2

You only chose three more songs than I did and I claimed to markedly dislike the 150s. Because I only listed the very best. My home playlist is a lot longer than that. At work I have less than 30 from even the best decades. Also... All The Best? Sorry, that one just boggles me. Personally, I can't ...

Re: Evolution of Eurobeat:: Part 2

I'm not sure I've heard anyone say they loved the 150's. XD I don't know if "love" would be the word I'd use but "like a lot" might be. The highly scientific measurement method of counting how many from each decade have made it onto my work laptop gives the third position to the...

Definitely. It's also otherwise the best.

Thanks! I'll try to hear it somewhere.

Here in Finland, the leading local group FinnPARAnoids have done a lot of good work in promoting the dance across the country. Whenever there's a Japan-related event, there's also a PP performance and a lesson to go with it. The lessons tend to draw in quite an attendance. As a part of their circle,...

HOlding OUt For A Hero sorta already have a cover albeit in japanese though >_> By whom? I'd like to hear that. I only know the Korean one - which is brilliant, by the way. It's called "One" and performed by Kim Jong Kook [김종국]. It also contains a referenc...

I tried to choose some that would have a roughly suitable tempo, because speeding the song up too much generally ruins it. Also tried to avoid those already mentioned in this discussion and the more obscure ones (so nothing Korean this time, sorry ) ABBA - Angel Eyes (Pamsy) Aqua - Barbie Girl...
