I do agree with your points to some extent. As much as I like experimentation of new ideas on Super Eurobeat, if the boundaries were pushed too far, then the series would lose the identity that it has established for so many years. I love the series for what it is, and I would be personally alienate...

Blast! and BeatFire are pretty much the only non-SEB labels I can think of, but I doubt either of them is still particularly active.

The Hi-Tension Version has a more heavily-compressed beat and slightly less pronounced synths, making it sound a bit sharper in comparison to the original. These, combined with the slight increase in bpm, cause it to feel speedier but also not quite as elegant as the SCP Eurobeat Version.

What era of SEB was in the 160-170 bpm range, cause that's verging on Happy Hardcore's tempo. Really, the genre's never gotten that fast.
