I figured much of it would be down to sampling from music/movies/etc. :) But there seem to be so many common sounds that do the rounds almost eternally - especially vocals - going all the way back to the 70s with some, I think. So how about those sweeping noises? Any good sources/software for genera...

Those random noises/voices/riffs in eurobeat megamixes

Maybe this has already been discussed sometime in the past, but I couldn't find anything ;-) Does anyone know of a good source for all those quirky riffs/voices/sound effects that all the eurobeat DJs have a habit of throwing aplenty into their megamixes? You know the stuff ;) Random exclamations of...

Heh, well if nothing else, it sounds like Annerley Gordon's well and truly back into the swing of things at A-Beat C :D

I've just learned SAIFAM pulled the plug on SEB for themselves, so they say no more SAIFAM on SEB for the moment. Dunno if it's true or not, though. I've heard the same thing too. Seems weird, considering they put that special greeting message on SEB 170 (although if that was like the others...

Usually I'll just talk about Eurobeat in the context of sped-up house/disco/trance or even reference EB as being some surrogate bigger brother to J-Pop ;)

Eventually somewhere in there people will catch my drift.

It seems a shame if Saifam have disappeared as well, but perhaps it's for the best - 5 labels is a lot to crunch into one album, and it's nice to see SCP becoming so popular that they have more on this month than Delta! We really need another regular series to showcase the other labels again, Eurobe...

Can we look forward to plenty more extended song releases on CD? :) I'm much more a fan of those than having to listen to them as part of megamixes.

Wow.. There's little in your A-Beat-C/Delta/Time pickings that I even liked this decade - most of my favourites for them were in their other songs ;-) But there you go.

If those are speculated, that's fine. To be fair I should have just read it that way anyway - some people seem to make a habit of running about forums pasting in random lists of tracks with NO source and NO context  The only reason I pointed megamix was the fact that 20 songs are listed there ...

And the vocoder effects, which is precisely why I brought them up

Well, Arena 69 did use the same sorts of vocoders in songs like I'm Dreaming, so Eurobeat isn't entirely untouched by that effect ;-)

But still, I'd have to agree that this definitely isn't a Eurobeat song, and come to think of it, this isn't a great dance song either o_O

Awww, crap :( Does that mean they're doing a crappy megamix? Yuck... And here I was hoping for another set of Extendeds...

Edit: What the heck is your source for this information, anyway?
