I liked the last 4 songs so far.
If you click the link to official website, will be able to hear a crossfade demo (I tried to put it here, but I couldn't… meh).
I don't hear any techno in that song; Thank goodness. I just hear an good ol' agreesive Eurobeat song. I'm more at oppisites ends with KiraTM's 45% rating on "Joker Face". It's one of the top 3 best on the disc. Just below Bon and Ana. Probly tied with "Hot Milk". I can understa...
I'll give ratings in percent. From 0% (song was made by Lucifer himself) to 100% (wish I could fap to songs). 12 Jeff Driller – Hey Chicken (100%) 17 Bok, bok! Bok, bok bok, bok bok bok. Bok bok bok bok. Bok? Bok. Bok bok, bok bok. Bok bok bok – bok bok – bok bok. Bok! Bok, bok bok bok bok. Bok bok...
I hope they add some pitch to the tracks this time around. Best of 2013 would have been better had the tracks had not been kept to their original tempo. I already had the original tempos on the full lengths; I was expecting something more...party-ish with the non-stop, like with CD 1 of Best of 200...
Try everything . Nothing is off limits. Break the formula, break the sound designs, break the vocal stylings, break everything. Go so avant-garde that it gives people room to question if the song is even music, let alone eurobeat. Preach. …and your views about labels' situations are very similar to...
Also, I think people already did this, but, have people already tried sending messages to Avex, emails, trying to get in contact with them, or anything? Sending suggestions, idk...have people tried to do this even with some of the labels? (apart from SCP and Sinclaire that are active at social medi...
We can throw money to the labels if we want to, we can buy all of their releases - by doing that, they'll know that their fans are real and supportive; We can have direct contact with most producers, no need to be wondering this or that; Eurobeat is changing slowly it's not sounding today as it was ...
It is a dumbass thing for fans to say, "Oh noes, if eurobeat goes mainstream, it'll kill the genre!!!". The genre is dying because of that mindset. I think that some studios are really trying to reach out to the fans (again, like I mentioned, SCP & Sinclaire) who are outside of Japan....
Feel free to enjoy the old style— I still do. But we (fans and Avex responding to fans) have held... not a smoking gun, that killed the genre, but the plastic bag that we put around its head to "preserve" it from breathing the "bad air" of innovation and adaptation. Yet we dare ...
If we're following that scenario, in the not-too-distant future, eurobeat'll be known as "hypertrance", "power-party", or something like that, simply due to hipster re-branding. Eurobeat is very singular. I'm not in favor of that but, as a way of surviving, I'll probably take th...
I'm really curious. Could you share some of these with us? I believe that that decline happens with almost everything that goes "trendy" in Japan: it appears, have a huge boom, it goes down, it fades and disappear. It's such an industry… dictated by money, of course… Eurobeat is a lucky su...
+20 years of many different styles inside the same music genre (and we still have that even today). That's really cool, no matter what - as I said… ups and downs, a lot of experimentation, shaping in uniqueness. Unfortunately, the major (and only) ongoing italian eurobeat compilation is SEB. Contrac...
