Contini Publishing covers most of eurobeat teams, if he did sign then there is hopefully enough incentive to restart a SEB.

Everything depended and depends on eurobeat teams willingness and ability to reach an understanding with Avex. They should be active...

Non-stops devide the audience, so they need to be kept to a minimum in a traditionally mostly full lenght compilation. Best format for such cd's is *RADIO* with 15-18 tracks, it's very accesable and perfect for any selective marketing, promos and radioplay. Extended is second best for SEB cd's, sinc...

In my view, Synthjunkie made an excellent and thoughtfull post, with a lot of research and examples to prove his point. For the record, he ain't putting a blame on ameripop for the evils of the world..so give a guy a break... :x Ameripop is criticized mainly because of it's colossal monopolic nature...

It is an English song
wasn't it some rock band's cover..?
can't recall the original band.

Arrangement is hinting at Sinclaire which is a good direction..I like this tune, but they should record GGM vocalist version if they send it to Avex..

I will only respond to Travis post, since the other post seems to be by some child posting some cartoon pictures and it has nothing to do with our subject. @Travis The actual point of discussion was a budget to create actual tracks. I said nothing at all about a studio maintenance budget - it is bes...

You don't need a budget if you already own a studio. You can just produce anything anytime you want.

But stuff like licensing and how it generates income from music can be another thing.

I think what makes eurobeat hard is that it's actually quite musically complex compared to a lot of other genres of electronic music. There's lots of layers of melody and harmony, and the chord progressions actually change! (what a concept :P) If you don't already understand music theory, you may w...

I'll give a brief answer in regards to a question about non-eurobeat influences.. Yes, I do personally preffer a very pure eurobeat of pre-SEB 100 era. But I am not at all proposing that old eurobeat style of pre SEB 100 must come back. Instead I support the desire by most of eurobeat listeners to h...

1. Keeping eurobeat pure and at its roots...no non-eurobeat influences in "my music", they say. Funny popular Jager and Pamsy have been with their non-traditional sounds. You should remember that I stated many times that Pamsy style is a desirable and successfull one. Basically, all SEB 1...

[ORIGINAL POST REMOVED] All I can say is, America is not the only country that can produce crappy music, and I'm extremely frustrated that the sentiment is so inherent in this forum. I can't even make a post on this forum without seeing my entire country's musical output bashed, when I personally k...

Madonna has the best-selling album on Japanese iTunes at this very moment, LMFAO has the 5th best-selling album, David Guetta is in 6th, and Saxobeat's in 10th. Those aren't dubstep but they are "Top 40"— in fact, these are top 10! Mr. Saxobeat is also 6th in the Singles list. And that's ...

@Travis. You probably know that Dubstep and american top-40 don't mean very much in Japan. I have nothing new to add except that it appears that traditional speedy eurobeat seems better to reflect all-time traditional japanese taste for imported eurobeat. If you take amature made japanese eurobeat, ...

Experimenting is o.k. on any level. Sure try new things. Just as long as Eurobeat does not start sounding like that cookie cutter dance pop/Dub Step/Electro Hop or whatever you wanna call it that LMFAO,David Guetta and all those other top 40 artists are making these days. Reality of life is that we...
