Let me tell you this, why do people still think that there is one kind of Eurobeat. And even worse, if it's not the ''pure'' Eurobeat they say it should be it immediately gets rated worse because in their opinion it's not Eurobeat. Eurobeat has many different styles, Hi-BPM, Chaotic, Aggressive, Cr...

Finally--and the harshest--Dave...please stop with the rock mixs of good eurobeat songs. I think I have a little stroke each time I hear a new one. As well, stop with the racing themed songs. The Race is Game, The Race is Over...now it'll be, The Race is Boring next. Give Powerful T better lyrics t...

Okay, as much as I really like the song, Labyrinth of Love kind of doesn't belong on this album. It turns out that it's not just a song with a prominent eurodance feel, but that it is a eurodance song! Putting aside the very eurodancy production elements of the track, the song structure itself total...

Overall, this album has a lot of great songs, but none of them are really among my favorites of the decade so far. By a slim margin, my favorite tracks are probably Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride (Eurobeat Remix), I'll Remember Why I Love You, and In My Arms. I also quite enjoyed Freedom Ride, It's Li...

I think Christine's Bigga Boom might really be a brand new song, as I couldn't find the track anywhere in cheeseman's Eurobeat Catalogue (which does include all of the label's unreleased material), much less from around 2001. The talk about there being an old SCP song on this album may as well just ...

I'm not too sure about that 90's house style you speak of? If you mean the use of pianos, then maybe, but they geared more towards techno in the intros and breaks, but the rest was a Hi- NRG/italo mix sound. I actually think the first real Eurobeat style song for TIME was Para Para Para Night- Fran...

Doesn't mean they can't show up on a future US home port. That happens all the time, honestly.

Wow, It's Like A Fire is surprisingly great now that I hear the whole track! I love the synth hook, and the melodic atmosphere is really fresh and interesting overall.

Still listening to the album right now, but I'll post some more impressions once I'm done.

I think eurobeat was very much still in its italo phrase during 1990-1991, just with a slightly newer melodic feel than the late 80's. Most labels started to truly fade from the genre's original form around 1992, beginning to sound instead more like early 90's house. The true "eurobeat" st...

Hmmm, not too bad I guess. I like how they experimented a lot with the step patterns in Super Eurobeat and made it fairly challenging, although it still isn't perfect imo. Eternity has some cool placement ideas, but again, it's not quite entirely polished, and I wish they could've tried out some mor...

Also, Megan, Italo-Disco is actually very easy to come by. Much easier than even Eurobeat! Just give eBay a quick search for some of the artists I've mentioned and you'll see a ton of results. Oftentimes affordable too, which is the best part. Heck I just bought Call Me by The System Blow and Help ...

Most italo disco albums are pretty hard to come by these days. Saifam has some of their earlier works available on their website, so that'd be a good a starting point if you have trouble finding very early releases in the SEB series or That's Eurobeat compilations.
