Re: recording

-Eq first rule: the less=the best. Each time you eq sthing you add phase distortion to the sound.Just keep it as simple as possible. Better work on the source, get the right sounds.Focus on the balance. You'll add brightness or basses to the final mix and then compress it. Compression is the key of re...

Questions, eh? What would you recommend for studio monitors? This is the one thing I really have no clue about. I'm debating getting a set of NS-10s (go, shrill box!) off of eBay, but would I be better off getting something else? What mixer would you recommend? I'm looking at a Behringer Eurorack, b...

Yeah. Happy hardcore was never mainstream.

Techno-based dance is relatively popular on the radio, but it's still dominated by rock/alternative and even on dance channels by r&b, rap and reggae.

And on television, techno-based dance is even LESS popular.

Ah! I just thought of something...

Did she say it was by SCP or simply Stefano-produced? Maybe she sang another Vibration song, when he was still with them. Guardian Angel would qualify, and be another Luna song for her. Just a thought.

Yeah. I can *really* hear Christine in some songs, especially in that one and Party Girl. And Kiki in Touch Me Honey sounds a LOT like Lucya, but no one seems to have asked about her. But, yeah, all I know is they told me Fancy is not Kika, and Kika's not doing eurobeat anymore. Of course, it's poss...

As far as I understood from SCP Kika = Fancy... that there was just a name change or something in there... Nope. Kika != Fancy Evelina mentioned that when I was there. Kika's apparently not doing eurobeat anymore. Although there's a chance they did some title mixing here and there before she left.

Well, the only female artists I can remember that aren't accounted for are: Kiki Kika Fancy Irene Vanilla Lilibeth Messalina (?) ST&B And the only ones who aren't with SCP anymore seem to be Kika, Messalina (if she isn't Christine, and I haven't heard that song, and wouldn't call it that famous)...

Re: RECORDING

If you're not a pro,the cheap and fast way to record a new song is the D.R.S.C.S. Dave Rodgers Self Cloning System. ....haha! I adore Gincarlo's work (so don't get me wrong!), but I must agree, some isn't too original.... Well, considering when his output at his peak was nearly two whole songs comp...

Heh. Well, if you're seriously, here's my chance. :P (I'm not happy with my voice on Flying Away, and it needs redone anyways, and I need to take the level of the vocalist on Fairytale down, but I'm fairly happy with that arrangement) Laura - Living in a Fairytale Hope, once it came on a star, Sent ...
