Well, the event was magnificent. Yay! I'm so happy for you that you made it there. I wish I was there, too. I'm presently in Bangkok, which isn't bad, by any means, but it isn't Tokyo... Either I'm still high on the music or alcohol, but the FamilyMart on the way back had the best sandwiches ever :...

Have you been to any clubs yet? This week there are still at least B-1 on Wednesday and Starfire on Saturday.

The last parts are Deluxe all right but the first ones are something else, probably several different routines. The first thing that came to my mind was Kingdom of Rock, but I'm not sure about that. I think they mention ParaPara Stadium, which would support that, though.

As I am going to Tokyo as well in september please do! You seem to already have gotten a good deal of pointers there. The website Tiger mentioned was what I was going to recommend as well. Star Fire (スターファイヤー), ...

Re: Eurobeat in Tokyo

Also other recommendations of places to visit are of course also welcome Even though you don't dance yourself, I'd recommend you to go see at least one parapara club. After all, where else can you find a club that plays only eurobeat? If you decide to do this, I can give you exact recommedations wh...

Mostly because of how unusual it seems to have a eurobeat song about dying. There are a few. My favorite dying song is, of course: Die, die my darling Shut your pretty eyes on me I'll waiting ' till the morning after Oh yeah, I'm never going to see you here again, no Die, die my darling Shut you li...

It's invariably in the early morning hours, crawling back from the club, when I put on the headphones and turn the volume up, that's when that feeling truly permeates the whole body and there could be no doubt this is how it has to be.

Re: Anyone use OpenMPT? (Newbie)

Anyone use OpenMPT for their Eurobeat compositions? I do, still after all these years :D It's just the most natural starting point. If so, where would be a good start on creating my own sounds or finding cool samples and/or plugins? No idea. I've always used stuff ripped from mods. It doesn't reall...

My predictions were 10/10 for the first and 7/10 for the second semifinal. Slovenia second last in its heat!? Looking back, I understand why, but still, it was the greatest injustice this year. In the final, however, I got four out of five right in the top 5, only missing Albania for Italy. Sweden w...

Slovenia is my #1 this year, followed by Belarus and Macedonia . I like all that you listed, too. This is a very good year. I'm developing a perversion for San Marino  Let's see how they're going to change the lyrics now that EBU's on them. This being a dance music forum, Romania needs to be ...
