Would Eurobeat be considered club or underground (rave)?

Would Eurobeat be classified as a rave genre or a more club/mainstream genre? Here in America, the genre is pretty nonexistant.

Favorite Anniversiary Album...

Ok, I am looking into getting either 130, 140, 160, or 180 (mainly because they are in the $20 range!) So far, I've only sampled 140, and I like it. What are some of yalls favorite anniversiary mixes?

Places to buy Eurobeat

K, I'm in America, so I always have to use the "Used & New" section on Amazon.com to get what few Eurobeat albums I own. Is there a more cheaper outlet for American consumers to get NEW copies of the ablums besides amazon.co.jp? Also, I saw that junodownload had full-length mp3 release...

I honestly dislike cds where you get 00:50-1:50 of track length in the mix.

Euromach 100

Can anyone shed some light on this cd? I know there are 100 tracks, but how many discs? I would assume 4 (25 tracks on each disc), but discogs doesn't say. And when I load the samples, they all say "extended", but discogs says the compilation is mixed.

Bonkers I own Euromach 4 & 5, and I will say 5 is more higher in the BPM's than 4 is. I like the tempo in Vol.5. I wouldn't exactly take into concideration that series. You do know that the songs were purposely speeded up for Euromach, right? Infact nonstops usually speed up the songs to be abl...

What era of SEB was in the 160-170 bpm range, cause that's verging on Happy Hardcore's tempo. Really, the genre's never gotten that fast. It gradually increased in tempo as it evolved throughout the early-to-mid 90's but hasn't changed much since. The closest to the 160-170 range you can really get...

Wow...After sampling some of the 200+ Eurobeats, I'm excited to hear the music still has an upbeat feel with chirpy vocals as well as more deep female vocals. I'm also happy to hear the chick from "Lolita/Virginelle" is still singing cause I like her voice.

Where can I hear upfront Eurobeat?

Amazon.co.jp isn't providing samples for the 200+ SEB's, and many of the songs are not on youtube, unless I'm not looking right. I would love to hear samples of the songs before I ordered the cd.

I would like Eurobeat to return to the sounds like "Hurricane" by Karen, or the 1999-2002 style with all the cheese and fast beats with rolling synths.

Ya, but I feel that I'm too late for the genre! It seems I've missed the limelight years of this genre. I at least caught the 2002+ re-birth of HHC.

Ok, I am new to Eurobeat. I have Super Eurobeat Vol. 47, "Super Eurobeat: Best of 2000", and I've ordered Euromach 4 & 5. I haven't heard any of the new stuff. Does the new stuff still have the chirpy female vocals and hyper keyboard synths? First off, you have good taste for a beginn...

A-Beat C has been disbanded earlier this year by G. Pasquini (a.k.a. Dave Rodgers). He now has a new label set up called Sun Fire Records under which he is still releasing Eurobeat (although many people are still waiting for this new label to show the flashes of brilliance that A-Beat C had). As fo...
