Favorite Euromach?

Post by #Infinity » 31 Oct 2007, 17:25

I recently listened to the Euromach series consecutively, so I'm pretty interested upon that subject, so I'm putting up this poll to heat up a bit of a discussion about it.

I pick Euromach 1. It has a great share of tracks from all of my favorite labels and maintains a solid level the entire time. There's not a single song I dislike, and there's plenty of standouts as well.

Euromach 15 is also fantastic and receives an honorable mention, but loses to 1 due to a few not-so-good tracks.

To an extent, Euromach 3 would have to be my least favorite because while it has its standouts (most notably Velfarre 2000), it basically suffers a horrendous level until the last few tracks.

I chose Euromach Final because it was the last one and I disliked the cd series. (lol) in all seriousness though, i wasnt a big fan of Euromach, but I did enjoy a few songs from most of the albums, and I did enjoy the mixing on the last album. :3

Huge fan of album 9, though quite frankly about all of the Euromachs rock, don't think there's a single album I wouldn't love.
The series that *Had* to be bought as real copies right away when I got into eurobeat.

15 and 8 come close after the superior 9. And the recaps (10, Bests & 16) are all very good as well, but I gotta say that 10 steals the show out of them, Go Go To Heaven ftw.

Euromach was awesome. The only drawback is that it was mixes and left me begging for the extendeds.

The best one for me would be #1 Belive it or not ,it's for the SCP tracks above all "Midnight", "Touch Me Baby" and "Nightmare". I wish SCP had stuck to this syle :P

Also love 15 for all the HRG material, but also because it was the last one wich meant no more great material would be wasted on mixes and maybe there was a chance they would show up on SEB?

I don't have a bad one in my mind. Even the few that didn't feature TIME had some awesome HRG, Saifam and Vibration material. I was so pissed off at TIME for putting "Take My TIME" and "Zorro Zorro" on this series instead of SEB, but they sent me the vinyls , so all was forgiven. :D

I recently completed collecting this series and I'd have to say Euromach 1 simply because the mixing on that disc is SO fucking solid. Tracklist was amazing and well balanced between the labels. It also has Christine - It's a Beuatiful Life which has some of the best editing in a track to make it even more energetic than it already was. It also has Shocking Fever which is one of my all time fave Saifam tracks.

Other runner ups would have to be 2 (simply because it's the odd one in the series that has NO HRG whatsoever, so the other labels energetic songs of those times really got showcased), 8 and definitely 12 <3

Must I also add that I really, really liked Euromach 14. There were two songs I didn't like that much (Call My Number / Alexis and Music Is Love / Susan Bell), but otherwise everything is fantastic. I'd say it's even better than Euromach 15 and comes very, very close to beating out Euromach 1 for the title of the best Euromach compilation.
