When the sun comes up~

Post by Bore » 13 Mar 2010, 17:07

Some form of blasphemy, there actually is an update. And even with a review attached to it. The slip up happened for some odd reason all of a sudden, well it has nearly been a year since I did a review so I guess it's about time to get something new on the site.

That thing aside, Eurobeat is still going on. 202 incoming and maybe even with a review on the site then.

Enjoy~ Oh and as a funny side note, with the new SEBs added to the database it currently states that: Currently 666 albums in the database. Spooky.

Nice to have another review for the first time in a while. I agree for the most part with your ratings - the songs you liked most were all strong picks for me and none of the bottom 3 tracks did a whole lot for me. There were a few favorites of mine that you rated much lower that I would personally (Rock Beatin' Wild, Nighttrain, and especially Live It Up!), but I was certain that you'd love Power Of My Love as much as I did, and it looks like I was right.

Nice review. Btw, Manuel's song is "Nightrain" (Night Rain) not "Night Train" :3 just pointing it out.

Nice to see you take the TIME for another SEB review. We are pretty much Fire and Water when it comes to Eurobeat tastes, and I see that most of the reasons for you not liking a track are the exact ones that make me like a particular tack and Vice a versa, but we did agree on Ken Blast 100% so there might be lightning tonight :P

Doh... I'm slightly out of touch, not paying attention to details

Well both errors fixed... I obviously were thinking of other things while writing those two parts.

Fun database facts for the J-Euro disc on SEB 200:
Tracks 13, 34, and 43 had the artist names in Japanese, so the name order is Japanese (Last First). You should switch those around to (First Last) so they match the rest of the artist names.
Track 17's artist should be Tokyo Pudding (since プリン is borrowing from English).
Track 11 should be Time Goes By (Eurosenti Mix) and track 12 should be Feel My Heart (Dave Rodgers Euro Mix).
Track 41 should be Ai No Tokyo Call (since コール is borrowing from English).

A dance style related to parapara, except with hyper techno instead of eurobeat. The technique and style is somewhat different as well.
