Queen - We Are The Champions (Dreamfighters) (the Dave Rodgers song just used the name, has an actual Eurobeat cover been done yet? There was the EuroDance version by Live2Love/Factory Team, featured in DDR)

Michael Jackson - Wanna Be Startin' Something (?)

Boney M - Young Free and Single (Alphatown)(done already?)

Amber - Love One Another, or Above The Clouds (probably Mari-San, one of the few Eurobeat singers who has that diva-type voice)

Apple/Veronica - Sugar Baby 2009

"Tarzan Boy" by Baltimora sung by Kevin Johnson

"Smalltown boy" by Bronski Beat sung by Mari-san

The man singing Smalltown Boy sounds so much like a woman, so, I thought, why not Mari-san? XD

"Never Surrender" by Corey Hart sung by Ace

"Relax" by Frankie Goes To Hollywood sung by David Dima

"Hungry Like The Wolf" by Duran Duran sung by David Dima

"That's All" by Genesis sung by Go 2

"Mony Mony" By Billy Idol sung by Fastway Feat. Christine or Irene or Pamsy

LOL A cover of a cover.

"Let The Music Play" by Shannon sung by Laura Vox or Tipsy & Tipsy or Krystal or Cherry (depending the style you wanna hear)

"Eye Of The Tiger" by Survivor sung by Dave Rodgers or Powerful T

"Voulez-vous" by ABBA sung by *put Eurogrooves alias here*

"Born To Be Alive" by Patrick Hernandez by Derreck Simons or Mega NRG Man. I know it's the same guy but I dunno what alias fits the best. Under GGM plz.

"Funky Town" by Lipps Inc sung by Kiki & Fancy

"YMCA" by Village People sung by Eurobeat All-Stars (multi-label project)

"Stayin' Alive" by Bee Gees by *put Eurogrooves alias here*

"Knock On Wood" by Ami Stewart sung by Mari-san

"Big In Japan" by Alphaville sung by Eurogroove

OK... ok... that's enough for now. 80's pop/dance music FTW.

Btw, sorry for hijacking this thread yet again. Since, we don't have much to talk these days, I figured that restarting this thread would be an idea.

Any comments on my selection? One thing's sure : Hi-NRG Attack can't cover much since their style is super different from the rest of the labels. *sigh*

The Killers - Somebody Told Me, covered by Leo River
Alphaville - Forever Young, covered by Lou Hunter
Corey Hart - Sunglasses At Night, covered by Dave Rodgers
A Flock of Seagulls - I Ran, covered by Go2
The Divinyls - I Touch Myself, covered by Megan or Krystal
Cher - If I Could Turn Back Time, covered by Laura Vox or Mari-san
DJ Company - Rhythm of Love, covered by (Melody C. HRG alias)
Mike Skanner - Atomic Playboy, remade by Nando/Dr. Love (Sinclaire was the main producer on the original)

Also thought about Mari-san doing Smalltown Boy.

Let The Music Play would have to be slow italo-style.

1. Great to see someone agreeing on Mari-san here :)
2. Not necessarily. ;)

That man is Jimmy Sommerville and he is singing in accapella. Many Eurobeat artists have sung in that style. Some of the most famous would be Mauro Farina. Dave Rodgers, Nando and Jean Love...and I think Mari San would ruin that classic.

I used to love that song - I bought the CD Maxi of the Mary Kiani version back in the 90's, and I still play the Motiv8 mix to this day - good times :)

The riff is horrible. Why covers are always done by no-name/super dupper old & unknown labels?

Correction: Jimmy Sommerville sings falsetto. Acapella is when only human voices are used for instruments.

How about: Tora remakes Tora Tora Tora (was written and produced solely by Leonardi/Sinclaire)

If Bratt remakes Tora Tora Tora I know he would do it with Domino's original vocals he has too much respect for her to use someone else.

I think Dima would do an awesome epic remake of Bonnie Tyler's- Total Eclipse Of The Heart. He should also sing it too.

DeLeo should cover Warrant's - Heaven under his Miky M.C. alias

I just realized cuz of this Eurobeat Hiatus we are not gonna get any new Halloween songs.

Thriller by Scream Team would have been cool.

Saifam just did Thriller though, also if you wanna a eurobeat version of Total Eclipse Of The Heart, Hi NRG Attack did a remix of it back on 2001. It's pretty amazing.
Anyways I'd love to see a cover of Mika - Ring Ring and Lady Gaga - Paparazzi.
